Hi, this is the 2003 games day limited edition, very fun to paint with a lot of different stuff to try. On the background side the armor should be black because the wolfpriests are the equivalent of chaplains/apotecary in the others chapters, but i\'ve decided to go with the satandar color and enphatize the chaplain thing with the shoulderpads and backpack.Another thing you should notice is that i used the icon of a pack instead of the one of a great pack, that\'s only personal taste for the paw, lol it seems i\'m talking about the colors of a nap! . That\'s all, i hope you like it. Cheers

Well - it looks great - of course it would - it\'s a great sculpt :)
And the painting itself is nice and neat, but I\'m afraid there isn\'t much depth to it.

It looks as though it\'s only been basically painted and unfinished.

Sorry to sound harsh, but I\'ve seen a bunch of versions of this figure, and with some more work this will look fantastic :)

Hey no prob, when i show some mini i implicitly accept critiques, i just don\'t understand the contradiction in terms: first you say it looks great then you say it\'s unfinished. But it\'s your opinion and i respect it. peace.

I like it too but my questions are merely concerns and I am really not at any level to make comments.

1. Is the mini final? I like the looks but it appears there are some detailing that still needs to be completed.

2. Do you drill out holes on the weapons? I see this mini doesnt have them. I like to drill all my weapons out just to give it that much extra depth.

3. The weapon also seems to be lacking silver highlights. Is that a personal preference?

4. I really like the snowy base. It does set the mini off well but one thing I want to point out from my own limited knowledge is that the white snow brings the eyes down to that level. When looking down at the snow the next thing my eyes went to were the same colors on the pelt that is also closely the same as all of the wolf icons around the legs and waist. All the same colors closely together take away from the rest of the work your showing.

Just my comments and again I am at no way an expert!

Good points vampyre: i\'ll try to answer at your questions:
about the weapon holes when it\'s a plastic model i usually do that, but in case of metal minis i tend to don\'t do it and i leave a black area where it must be the hole, in this case it\'s not visible at first glance because the weapon is black
The mini is final, i was in doubt about making some cracks on the boney hammer head but finally i\'ve decided to leave it clean.
The weapon is inteded to be black and not nmm silver, sadly that is the best i can do with black actually since is one of my weak points.
About the chromatic stuff you\'re right, maybe it\'s too much similar as choiche but i wanted badly the fur to be this color.
Honestly it was very hard to diversify areas that basically are done with the same colors : the bone areas from the gold areas from the fur areas but imho they are recognizable ( at least i hope :D )

Something can still be great AND unfinished :p
I just meant, as mentioned by Vampyre - that it doesn\'t LOOK finished.

It still looks great anyway - but it could look so much BETTER :)

a great mini but i agree that some bits need some extra work.

the boltgun seems unfinished, a classic style silver barrel and magazine would look better imo, especially as you haven\'t drilled out the barrel.

again, imo, i fee that the bone could do with a little more depth.

as much as i love the fur, i could do with darkening a little just to separate it from the bone

i feel some areas need darklining, ie the face and some of the armour.

still a great piece though

looks good mate, one thing you could do to give extra depth is to imagine a light pointing down onto the mini and enhancing the shadows that it would create. (zenital lighting technique)
