Just saw the trailer for a WOLVERINE movie, featuring Gambit, sabretooth, beak, the blob, deadpool others... about how he became wolverine etc... looks pretty sweet..

Ryan Reynolds as deadpool has to be the one thing about this film that really makes me interested.

The rest seems pretty decent, but also a bit formulaic (it might be incredible though, I´m ofc. only judging by the trailer).

I\'m hoping they go into lots of detail etc .. don\'t skip out on the ww2 bit (which looks pretty awsome).

Could be great, could be crap..

I\'m pretty sure it\'s gonna be awful. I think if ti was going to be \"Dark Knight\" good, or even \"Iron Man\" good we would have heard about it by now. It looks like they\'re trying to put most of the focus on the extra cameo\'s and stuff to get the fanboys (Which I am one) geared up for the film.

I do have to echo the sentiment fro seeing Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Could be perfect casting. However how can you fit like a dozen cameo\'s into a movie without it bogging down? I don\'t think they can TBH.

Of course I\'ll still go see it at least once.

I\'ve been \'hearing\' about this movie for some time. Old Wolvie is one of the best of the Marvel characters, certainly the best X-man, and I look forward to it.

I guess I\'ve become a fanboy of the latest treatment of Marvels\' stable of superheros. I\'ve liked MOST of them (except the Eric Bana Hulk craptacular).

Hell, I even liked Daredevil AND Elektra.

Speaking of Marvel movies, did anyone ever see Punisher War Zone?

Dude, you\'re gonna love \"Rising Stars\".

P.S. The color Purple, really? I need to find an Oprah Winfrey model with an Oscar making an acceptance speech STAT!

This looks pretty good

I didn\'t think the Dark Knight was a \"great\" film personally, it was good I\'ll give you that

I think why I like it so much is because it is a comic book movie with a strong cast, good story, and one of the most memorable performances in history (death be damned, he done good as the Joker).

It\'s better then good, but maybe not 10/10 cinema. I\'m just happy that We got some comic movies out of hollywood that are respectful of the source material and still good films.

And also has one of the most WHARRGARBL\'ed origins. I rather preferred it back when his claws were a feature of his metal skeleton, not his original one, and all this \"Weapon X\" crap was shrouded in mystery. Though the concept that the Canadian government could/would fund a program like Weapon X is laughable...

I remember reading a comic when I was a kid about some Canadian super heroes, there was a super muscle and a woman I think, can\'t remember her powers though
The only one who\'s name I really remember is Puk
ring any bells?

That would be Alpha Flight.
Guardian/Vindicator was team leader.
Aurora and Northstar were twin flying speedsters.
Sasquatch was the muscle.
Puck was the midget acrobat nuisance (hated him).
In later issues, Guardian\'s wife took up his mantle after he \'died\'. Of course, in Marvel tradition, he came back.

I\'m keeping my fingers crossed for the Wolverine movie.

ALPHA FLIGHT!!!!!! They all DIED in a three panel throw away death in New avengers. They were reborn as Omega FLight featuring 5 members of which I think one was Canadian. They\'re leader? Why, USAgent of course! WHat could be more Canadian then that!

Puck was an archeoligist tomb raider guy at the turn of the century and he stole a gem that contained a demon (Raizer I think) that shrunk him down and uglified him, and made him live a long ass time. He sucked a ton. That\'s all from memory, so it might be a tad shady, but years of working in a comic shop and running an old TSR Marvel Super Hero\'s RPG campaign for about 3 years (What did you do in high school? Get Laid..... uhmm, okay, you win.) sure help with things like this.

Bah, beat me to it! Also Wolverine had an affair with Heather Hudson (Vindicators alias after she took up her hubby\'s outfit!) so they always had to throw in a lame Wolverine cameo to try and sell that book.
