Well, I just filled out my survey for the 'Flash Point: 2nd Story, Urban Structures & FF Figures' KickStarter, so it's now a race to see which one gets here first...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Abomination bundle only another 6 runners, not 8? I understand the logistical reasoning behind this layout for CMON, and most assuredly will not complain, I'm merely making sure I didn't miss something that was announced later.

Still jealous.

I'm guessing they won't bother. It's just easier for them to give us a second tray that was prepped for the game itself than try and change each abomination box. Honestly, it's probably cheaper to leave it thus than spend the man-hours changing things.

Yeah, you're probably (hopefully) right.

But, at the same time, it could be that the special trays, with only 6 runners, haven't yet turned up and CMON thought "you know what, we've got people posting on the forums wanting the game, so let's just use some of the standard trays, and take the hit on them getting the two extra runners, then we can switch over to the proper trays when they arrive".

'Mistake' implies something that shouldn't be the way it is and might get corrected.


EDIT: Oh, and, I don't do Facebook.

Well, it's not like you need an account in order to check their page. I don't have an account either, but at times it's the only way to get the information you're looking for.

And I have to admit that this quote alone isn't quite clear. Edge Entertainment(the publisher for the french and spanish versions) offered a limited amount of the game + abomination pack + promo survivors. But they stated on their page that you would in fact get 8 runners. To cut a long story short: the number of runners on KS was apparently wrong and everyone should get 8 runners.

I hope that this is clearer now.

True, you don't need an account to look at the page, but if they did say anything about getting 8 Runners there, then it's in a part I can't access without an account!

I'm not saying that I think you're wrong, but I'd rather get official confirmation of that before I believe it.

In Illinois, my tracking number estimated Monday but I managed to snag it Saturday. I'll admit, good thing I got the Abominiation extras as I kept running thin on the zombies. Had I had a regular set I'm sure many of the runners and walkers would have been getting plenty of extra turns.

I got my package yesterday and I live in Pittsburgh. I have played solo quite a bit, now I just need to get my friends over and teach them.

I got my package saturday, 5 minutes after it started raining. Thankfully, the mail chick knocked loudly on the door and my door area is covered. Everything was fine. Have played through mission 03 so far with wife and daughter. Can't wait for my wife to paint the minis!.
