Wooden Display Plinths

Here\'s a sample of mahogany display plinths that I am selling.
There is 25mm Round and Square at £1-50 and 40mm Round and Square at £2-50.
The ones sold will glossier than these samples and also be green felted on the underside.I am going to do a 30mmRound for the Spyglass bases.I am also going to add to the sizes eg75mm/100mm,and can also do any custom size to order.

I can do them unvarnished,knock 50p of the prices for each.
I am getting the timber on monday and hopefully the hardware tommorrow.
I will update the thread with another pic soon with the full range with prices.
REMEMBER that mahogany comes in many different shades so they might not be quite the shade in the first pic(not pine or mdf coloured though)

I would definitely not want mine varnished (not \'cos I am a cheapskate) but, putting a \'finish\' on wood is one of the few artistic pleasuresthat can be enjoyed by even the most dick-fingered of idiots :flip:

Right guys and girls and whatever else,heres the bases using the timber I have in stock.
I have ten of each for now and will do another ten of each when the stocks get low?
If I get more timber then I will update the pics to show the colour changes (if any).
They all come with a green felt base and remember to deduct 50p per item for un-varnished ones.

I can highly recommend Mark\'s work here. I bought a one off 95mm base for my Wolfen and it is perfect the job I intended it for. It realy sets the mini off well.

would you do \'bespoke\' bases, to my own design?

BTW, a base producer (Oakwood Bases in Leeds) has stopped making his high quality wooden bases; there\'s not many base manufacturers out there in the UK, especially for larger scale figure....ever thought of expanding?
