Place a piece of blank paper, or transition blue paper behind the model, so more lense focus is applied to the model, and not your paper basket.

from whar i can see they look like bird wongs. i dont think those match very well with the model.
then again that could just be me.

I think those work pretty wel with the model but personaly I would simply add some more robes from green stuff only on the wings not the body as well and let those pieces drop almost to the half of the model that would make a great impression.
