@ tidoco: nice job, I never understood how people could achieve such a smooth skin color over a black primer

@ mordred: great job on the armour, and the picture quality is improving as well :)

I won`t bore you with another wip of the giant this time :D . As soon as I get better I`ll post finished pics instead ( I cought an awful cold and I`m not in the mood for making bases at the moment).I followed your advice and repainted the axe blade.
Here are 2 new minis I`ve started working on.

Nice work as usual from all, I\'ve started work on this mini from Iron Kingdoms as an experiment to practice painting NMM for the first time :S. Not going too badly atm I dont think, if any of you have any advice or comments about it I need all the help as I can get :)

Thanks in advance....

@donga: that\'s a great re-sculpt. It actually does look like you\'ve put a lot of work into it. I like the dynamic pose and the sculpting you\'ve done on the greenstuff. I can\'t wait to see it painted.

@tidoco: the pale skin looks great--it contrasts really well with the cybernetics peaking through the skin. BTW I really liked your work on the Cyber Palladin and Cyborg.

Thanks guys I am pleased with the results so far, as for the armour and the clothing I am thinking of a puple colour for the lower robe, not quite sure about the ripped shirt yet. The armour is going to be done in traditional metallics and given a bit of weathering (we\'ll see how that pans out.
Malleusmini-art I am glad you like it particularly as you know the sculptor I hope he will pleased with the end result.By the way the Widowmaker is looking nice.
Stef your NMM looks good nice and smooth wich is what you need but you also need to go higher with the highlights too (though I am no expert on this).
Donga like the conversion.
awhco thanks for the comment both on this one and the Cyborg.
Mordred Selafyn is looking cool I like the armour, you are making a very plain mini look very good.

damn I\'m a painting machine the last few days :) my noble is almost finished, and that in two days ! normally it takes me at least two weeks.

now a question for you peepz : I really don\'t know what colour I should give the hair ... suggestions are more than welcome ! I don\'t want to screw up the miniature. I was thinking about light blue, but then again that might come out too flashy.

stef your nmm looks great ! I like it as it is right now, but maybe some rust around the rivets would really finish it. I don\'t know how you plan to paint the rest of the miniature.

@Demon Hunter - this was my first try with Reaper Master Series paints. On both minis I`ve used fair skintone set and some vallejo paints. The first coat was fair skintone shadow mixed with vallejo gc dark flesh (on widowmaker captain it was darker mix - more dark flesh). Then I`ve started adding more and more fair skintone shadow, then fair skintone and finally fair skintone highlight applied on most raised areas.
As I want to achieve more \"winter look\" on widowkaer captain I glazed places around cheeks with blood red/fair skintone mix.

@Minimaker - looks cool, can`t wait to see it finished. My favorite part is that pirate hat.

@Mordred - I see you`re following your army color scheme :). I`d paint the hair the same color as they have now - white.

Tim - thanks, it is actually highlighted up to white at the moment, but only 1 coat so I may give it a couple more now you\'ve said that to get it a bit brighter.

Mordred - That looks cool for 2 days work. I will probably do some scratches and rust and thing as this is really just a model to try out various techniques. most of the model will be in the NMM, I\'m doing this one part at a time (ie a leg or arm) as theres quite a bit of work in it and I\'d probably get bored lol.

She\'s got a ways to go yet, but I thought I would share:

Picture removed to protect me from my own stupidity!

She was removed from her Reaper brocolli base so she could be mounted on a diarama I\'m working on. Look forward to hearing you comments, sorry for the crappy pictures, I think my camera is about to have a serious accident... :flame:

Cheers,
Grumb

*EDIT* Link fixed, thanks Wolf_Fang!
