the only things that need to be done at the moment are the handle of the sword, the two pouches hanging from his belt and I\'ll also retouch the white reflection stripes on the armour ... they\'re abit overdone at the moment.

I used vallejo\'s neutral grey, highlighted up to pure white. I always have a very hard time using white smoothly, for some reason it always gets very thick. but this time it worked out fine :)

thx for the positive comments ! always motivates me to paint on :)

Mordred, it could be me, but is that some mold-line leftover I\'m seeing on top of his head on the bottom picture? Of course I can be mistaking ;)

beware what phrases you use over here frechkid - touch her up has a totally different meaning!! looks great, how did you do the concrete block that she\'s standing on?

oh god I managed to get my self in trouble once more  Ignore the offending phrase then ;)
The concret is done with polyester and to to the broken parts I just poked it a bit with a needle. Was my first attempt at concrete that way and I think it looks pretty good. Might need to sprinkle a bit of sand on it to make it look better though.

Wolf_fang: I would give that green a very thin glaze of brown ink to make him look dirtier and bring out the detail. But thats just me ???

Wolf fang: Works equally well on \'flat\' colours, OR just water down a dark brown paint for an \'ultra matt\'.

Give it a try, eg...

Washed him many times, and he still looked dirty ???

I have always thought that Ilyad games minis from what I had seen of them were pretty cool models and now having a couple to paint I now know I want more of them. This Orc was sent to me by green stuff as part of the mini exchange and I am very impressed with the quality of these models. Luckily for me I also have a half elf type character and familiar to paint as well.

Very cool minis indeed I only hope that my paintjob can do them justice.

That is a pretty cool mini. Oh, and we all know your paintjob will do it more justice:D.

Marineboy sent me a bunch of cool stuff, so I will post my progress on that maybe this weekend.

Any ideas for improvement? I want it to look nice and pretty as it will end up on eBay soon.

Yup send it to me and I\'ll paint it for you. :D

Seriously though it looks good I like the bigger scale of the mini makes it look much more imposing which is as it should be.

that terminator conversion looks good. a bit plain though even for pre heresy armour. but i guess that good paintjob will overcome this :).
here`s second wip of the widowmaker captain:

I`m not sure how to paint armour pieces. all the ideas appreciated :).
