Stef.....skin looks great.....I see what Tab is meaning but think it is the light hitting it.

If you want to practice skintone then get the concubine figure from Hasslefree,her only clothing is an ankle bracelet
Im on doing her for them at the minute along with the harem guard.Im not posting wips this time cos Im doing an in depth tutorial on black and white skin tones.

TAB - Yeah that is the lighting thats doing that unfortunately. Hopefully be able to fix that next time I take a photo of her :S.

Klute - Sounds cool, I have 3 or 4 of their naked chicks hehe so lots to practice on . Looking forward to your tutorial.

Been awhile since I\'ve posted here, but I\'m working on a GW - Skrag the Slaughterer. Base is mostly done, maybe a wash or two more to keep things together.

Pictures are a bit washed out - ah well, proper pictures later with the whole thing.

@Frustrated father: nice work!!! love they way its looking i agree with you that a wash will improve the overall look of the base. but i wouldnt touch the blood filled thing, its just prefect the way it is, specially the blood nice work. Masybe just blackline a bit the space between copper spikes.

@El Guardian--I think you have done well on the metallics. Perhaps a bit more highlighting on the red shoulderpad?
@Frustrated Father--the cauldron of bloody...stuff...is looking good, although I agree a dark wash may help to bring out the chains around it.

@TAb: Looking good, even though I\'m not quit sure that minautor head works well. Might be a bit too big, you\'ll have to make sure it dosn\'t draw away from the head I think.

@el guardian: Wow great mini, and nice paint job too

I made this fellow fairly quickly as I wanted something to paint. Inbetween my sculpting commissions and A level stuff, I have not picked up a brush for a while.

so with this warning, nothing amazing and a quick job made just so I could try out some painting techniques here he is.

I hope it looks like he is unleashing some mighty psychic power, the greenstuff is also not as rough as it appears in the photos, I have a habit of taking very poor photos which do my models few favours...

I haven\'t been by the WIP forum in a while, since I just got overwhelmed with other stuff... and I missed a lot of good shit being posted! Serves me right

stef686 - that skin tone looks great, really \"living\". That particular subject - nekkid girl skin - is one of my personal problem areas. I have a lot of trouble making the large areas look smooth and the shadows not look \"dirty\".

El Guardian - that cyborg looks amazing! I like the use of colour on it, it needed something other than metallics, black and flesh. I\'m going to vote on it now.

abstract_incendiarie - what are the white bits (right shoulder and torso) on your mini there? Resin accessories? Or self-made?
