looking cool, I think the guitar wire really adds to the feel as opposed to the old pipes, I don\'t mind the banner\'s height, it adds to his ostentatious vibe of \"I am an inquisitor, I care little for practicalities.\"

Spacemunkie that looks friggin Awesome, I really like the banner, even if it would be impractical it really adds to the feel of the model, can\'t wait to see it painted.

Ok, with about 8 hours work i\'ve managed to get marneus\' cloak to this stage, the time dosent show does it?

It will still have an Ultramariunes U symbol in the center of the cloak, with celtic patterns inside it, but the edge pattern is done, hope you all like, the picture is about 200% real size, so please bare in mind the real figure is a bit less than half the size as in the picture.

i\'ve always wanted to do something on the =][= scale... but i\'m not happy with my hobby store right now and don\'t know where i\'d be able to get pieces in that scale. Also don\'t have anything that scale, so i could sculpt it. Any suggestions?

BB - that is just sick its so good. 8 hours, hell I couldn\'t paint that in 8 years.... I\'m going to go cry now too...

@Brokenblade AHH! The trim on Marneus\'s cloak looks bloody fantastic. I\'d love to be able to paint filigree like that. I can paint it okay if I\'m copying off of something. If I have to create a pattern though, it always ends up looking a bit strange. I think I just need to practice drawing filigree.

@joe That cloak is just.. well could you please do a write up how you go about doing such an amazing thing. You are far to humble sometimes. Amazing.. just pure skill. My jaw is still on the floor.

These are the two minis I\'m working on at the moment. I\'ve never done nmm before so these two are sort of \"trial\" minis. I only spent about 2 hours on the pilgrim.

Brokenblade, that interlace work on the cloak is bloody amazing mate! I\'m glad you included the reminder about the size Joe as you can\'t tell from the photo - I\'d be perfectly happy if I could do it at the screen size much less at the original size :eek:

Keep up this sort of standard and you\'ll be in the top 50 in no time :cool:
