Thanks for the comments, in answer to your question Wolf it is just lots of patience and lots of thin layers of thin metalic paint and very gradual stages of highlights.

slekke Wolf-Fang is right it is made by Ilyad Games and green stuff was kind enough to fetch me a couple from France to Games Day. Thanks again Cedric.

Update on the Stern...I\'ve been working rather slowly...being a college student doesn\'t leave you a lot of time for painting =(

@Valcrist: Wow, awesome, have you posted an earlier stage of this mini before because it looks familiar?, anyways that is fantastic, although i do agree with what Tony is saying

My pleasure Tim, I just love seeing them painted by you ;).

By the way, people have been PMing me so I can send them to them. I have no problem with that providing that I get paid back, shipping fees included, and ... that the mini is from the Chronicles de la Lune Noir range and not the Armagedon one since my LGS only have the first mentionned.

For those of you who don\'t know yet, you can also order them here (the site is in english and I think they will ship world wide):

Well seems as how you like to see me painting them here is another WIP of it still a long way to go with it but I am happy thus far, the hair looks far too red in the pic but is not so in reality I will still shade it back down though,

now to go and prep the rest of the parts to go on this one.

Ooooh, looks sweet Tim. I really like the color of his chest plates. The purple grip on the axe and the green skin also stands out to me. Nice job so far on this one.

Lovely, Tim! This is ten times better than your last Ilyad orc, and that\'s saying a lot. The only thing I\'m not so keen on at this moment is the purple axe handle. I think it clashes with the red hair.

Now, I know orcs don\'t care too much about colour co-ordination, but... that\'s about the only criticism I can come up with! :D

Thanks Anders, I dunno I kinda like the handle and the hair is more gingery than it appears here, mmm I think I\'m going to leave it as it is for now and judge it when the mini is done.

@Skrit aww I was hoping it would go unoticed until I had it finished before I put it up over there.

Tony i was scrolling through this page and saw your dwarfs. I scrolled past them accidentaly as i was scrolling back up i was thinking \"oh i jus missed some decently painted dwarves.\"as i scroll up \"..AHH THEY ARE WARMASTER!\"

heheh they are so funny to paint lol

spend 6 hours painting the full unit, now i have to do 2 other units of warriors, 2 thunderers and some cannons and characters... now i understood the techniques behind warmaster... so i hope that following minis\'ll be better ^^
