I\'m sure it will look a lot better once its all tidied up, not spilled over the table :D

I tried a bretonnian army once, i finished 1 man of arms and 1 pegasus knight, then i gave up.....so good luck :p

seriously though, if you plan it out properly and get one unit done at a time ( rather than changing from unit to unit before finishing them), it will be ok. A good tip from previous experience is to do... unit-character-unit-character and so on, this way it keeps it interesting.

Rather you than me, I\'d say! :D

I have tried painting bretonnians. I finished one damsel and half a knight...

Very very close to finishing...just need to tighten the sword and the emblem. Maybe make the cloak lighter...but I dont think the picture brings out all the vibrancy of the mini. I think i need more lighting.

commission wIP... the base now is modified with photoshop because i must fill the gap with gs ^^

Tony, A bit of advvice put a gap in the middle between the two strips so that each strip is closer to the front/back edge.

You can then paint in or use a shringe to put in PVA and use gravel/sand to level the bases upbefore painting/flocking.

Have a look in my gallery and you will see what I mean :D

Nice painted dwarfs other than that though fo the size.

This orc is realy starting to take shape now, most of the mini is done and now I\'m just adding the extras like the banner pole there are two more of those to go on the mini plus there is also a pair oof sheathed swords to do for the back and then I can think about basing.

I\'ve still got one or more little things to do as well like the necklace strap and also the hair band as well, plus some more weathering to the metalics. I was at a loss what to do with the shield so I went for metals on there as well to keep the theme of a heavily armoured orc going. Hope you like it. Oh and the purple will be explained when I finally post the mini in my gallery.

That orc has the cutest bum I have seen in green. Wonderful work Tim I think he is charming, Don\'t even think twice about the WOH wanting him the question now is can you part with him. wow

Brandlin Maybe you could do a wash mix of 1 part future floor wax to 4 parts water ratio. it will smooth the flesh tones out a bit. It is the best for painting everything really but real important for me on the flesh work I use it instead of water. Do they have future floor wax in the UK?

Yes you should be able to pick up a bottle at Asda you should also be able to get it in Tesco and Sainsburry\'s over here though it is known as \"Klear” or “Krystal Klear” I think you will find.

:D

Yes I can part with him, Cedric brought two of these minis over for me so I can soon paint another, plus I have the pictures as my keepsake.

hi and thanx for the comments on \"future\" - it is indeed called \"Klear\" here in the Uk, and the sad thing is i already use it in my painting water...

I just don\'t seem to be able to get the cheek bones and mouth right at all..
