Works In Progress II

Wow Tim! that\'s really, really nice! the metal work is exquisite and the definition of the mini is really great. Only thing I can come up with is that the eyes seem to disappear in the face. that and maybe a few more highlights on the face just to bring it out.

Impressive to say the least.

Thanks Sven, the eyes are actually very small in this mini and sunken well down into the face so they have alot of natural shadow. I painted them yellow with black pupils to try and make them stand out a little. Also I was struggling with the light when taking the photo so it is not the best of pictures. I may highlight the face a bit further when I have the rest of the mini complete. I don\'t want to take too long now as this is destined for the Works of Heart scheme.

Looking very good so far, I have the Rhaszeem model but I have not plucked up the courage to start it yet as it is a daunting model to do. the NMM is looking vey good so far.

the good thing is he only wants them tabletob :D.. so i can speedpaint them..
That, unfortunately, depends on his definition of table top. I\'d suggest he shows you a sample pic of what quality he wants.

yeah, i\'d check this out, lots of people have different views of what tabletop standard models are, so its best to be on the safe side.

For those interested, the armour on Razheem was painted with Games-workshop colours as follows:

Chaos black mixed with a tiny ammount of codex grey, highlighted up to ->Codex grey -> fortress grey -> skull white.

hope this helps, and cheers for the kind words.

Ditto, Tim.
That is one scary figure to even contemplate.

Great NMM Brokenblade... stunning is a better word I guess... :wow:

I guess I\'ll be skipping the commission \"business\" after my current job. I painted enough of other people\'s armies (mainly orcs, chaos, empire and tomb kings) to last me a good while. It just eats my time I need to do my own stuff. And since I\'m painting other people\'s armies for the biggest part, not characters, it\'s not much of a \"challenge\". Plus, I\'m waaaay too cheap. ;)
Good luck with the Brets anyway.:)
