This one was quite a challenge. There is more freehand on this mini than all the previous minis I\'ve painted combined I think! I figured I\'d prove to myself that I could, lol...

Comments of course welcome, and keep an eye out for the charity auction! :)

:eek: here I was just about to go back to painting my Andrea elf, thought I would peek at this post first...... now I am lost for words (for me, that\'s unusual) - this is incredible TRULY! 10+++++

Eric you are a gentleman for using your own time for such a fantastic project - and for making the miniature incredible. I won’t mention names but I was very disappointed in one particular person who was part of the paint aid when I saw their effort knowing what they are capable of....(although of course I respect them for taking part in such a project) bravo sir for your work!

I\'m going to go back to my measly elf and dream about painting like you :)

Beautiful. 10 from me. My favorite is the sword on this one, and the freehand was worth the effort. I really like the lady on the front of the flag. I can\'t wait to see what this sells for.

thanks everyone, this mini was definately something different than I\'m used to, although I\'m not sure I like the style as much in the end! lol

Dauber, ummmm, everything seems to be working ok I think ???

Must be just me then.
I still get the \"broken image\" when I try to view it. :( I\'ll leave it be for a while and try again later, so you don\'t get too many \"reported\"s

Nope. Now it says it can\'t find photobucket. I tried through your link and going there directly to the main site. Maybe they\'ve got a problem or maybe my PC is acting up.

they put a big sign on the front of photobucket which says \"no-daubers\"

but it seems to be working for me, and I\'m now at a different computer from work...and it seems others can see him...sooooooo, it might be your computer :(

There is something odd about the banner. It looks more like a brass relief than a banner. (Art deco era to be precise more like the brass reliefs you find at Rockefeller Center in New York City.) That being said it certanly doesn\'t detract from the excellent work. \"Fantastic\" doesn\'t do it justice.

no need to be sorry dauber, I think there is something up now, I just heard someone else is having troubles loading it as well, there may be something up with photobucket :(

I thought I\'d also give credit to Cindy for her help here, she did for me a sketch to use on the banner, which was a HUGE help really :)
