Hello all painters and smelly cheddars.
Is there someone that can give me any tips about painting World Eaters?
Iv\'e found it quite hard to highlight the power armour in a nice way. Especially the shoulder plates.

back in the day when i had a world eaters army i had the luxury of buying the white dwarf.
and better GW colours.

heres what i did:
i painted all red areas scab red, this was then highlighted with red gore, make sure you only hilite the areas that would catch the sun. next comes blood red and finally either the old blazing orange or a mix of the new blazing with blood red.

oh, and always dilute your paints. on red a thick job will shine through very easy.

If your talking about red armour then you can use white to do the highlights and once you have it highlighted to where you want it use a red ink wash to get the armour looking red again instead of pink.

You also need to use a purple wash in the shaded areas.

I have had very good luck with a similar method, although I went scab red->brown wash->red gore->chesnut wash->blood red->magenta wash->blood red

It doesn\'t actually take as long as it seems like...
