WOTC plastic miniatures

Being a fan of everything D&D related I bought some of the Harbinger miniatures. Overall I think the paint jobs are superior to Mage Knight. Some of the sculpts are OK but most are kind of boring. One of the most annoying things is that the scale fluctuates. Some are small like old Grenadier figures and some seem closer to 28mm scale. Just wondering if any of you have bought these and what your opinions are. They are cheap if you just want troop fillers.

hello fellow Iowan....

I am not familiar with these particular minis. Do you have a link or something?

How\'s the weather....oh wait, probably the same as it is here!!lol

Dr. Bob

but not THAT Dr. Bob
I\'ve bought a bunch of packs just for kicks and have traded some to get gaming fodder (e.g. orcs, goblins, undead, lizard-types).

Most of the paintjobs are pretty poor, but they work for tabletop gaming.

A few are really excellent. For example, I have an umber hulk, a small black dragon, and some troglodytes that I would consider worth posting on CMoN.

I\'m not into repainting them, since I have plenty of unpainted metal to work on, but there are some great examples of repaints - check out koboldmage\'s page.

D&D minis official page.

You know, I really have never been too deep into D&D. But after looking through this website you linked, I have to say, that stuff is very cool.

The free downloads, the character portraits, the paper fold ups, all free stuff just to encourage the hobby. I had no idea, but I will be bookmarking this site, and start looking more heavily into their stuff.
