Well when im finished he should look like he lives in the buckle of the bible belt lol

He\'s gonna look like he\'s from Waco, Texas?

A John Deere Gimmie Cap, blue jeans and a Baylor T-shirt?
Oh, and a belt buckle big enough to eat dinner off of, of course.

Not sure your average IG would have purity seals; but I see no reason there will be those that have earnt them. Unfortunately I don\'t have the IG codex for a definitive answer; but I don\'t think it\'s a spam only thing.

Hang on, I happen to have a handy IG codex - after a very very quick scan I find nothing saying that IG cannot wear purity seals.

Course, there\'s nothing in there saying they can either.lol

Looking at the witch hunters codex, they can have purity seals, too. More importantly, the Inquisitorial Stormtrooper veteran sergeants can be given them.

EDIT: Done some searching and here is the answer, yes they can have them, as long as there\'re priests atached to the army. At least that\'s what I can see from the site.

They actually DO wear purity seals, its just that you can\'t see them as they wear them under their armour as titty tassles.

So where do I sign to join the death corps?

(sorry, as you may have guessed I don\'t know the answer! Undave is very clued up on imperial guard - well, I say clued up, but obsessed is more acurate!- may be worth PM\'ing him as he tends to only hang around in the WIP, General discussion and 40k threads)

Boo!! You cannot escape from me anywhere Mwahahahahahahahah!!!!

Just cos I don\'t post much in this bit doesn\'t mean I don\'t read it.

Purity seals are just a way of showing that a person is free from any taint be it xenos or heretical. The two strips of paper carry prayers etc. and are generally like a certificate proclaiming that the bloke carrying it is OK. IG, particularly the more religious regiments, would certainly have them. They do look better stuck to vehicles though but theres no reason that you couldn\'t put small ones on your Kreig.

Background wise the Kreig are a pretty religious regiment seeing their service to the Emperor as pennance for the massive insurrection which occured on their home planet. I\'d say go for it but don\'t get too carried away and make them small Spacemarines are big buggers after all so they tend to have more space on their armour.

I don\'t see why they can\'t wear purity seals however if you read a lot of the fluff in the Imperial Armour book I think there lives aren\'t that long and they are bred for fighting in areas that require gas masks and protective clothing so I would say no don\'t bother adding them to the soldiers but maybe the vehicles and some of the senior officers would wear them.

If you look at the pics on the Forgeworld site of the new DKOK Command Squad the purity seals are stuck on the banner/standard :D

Well what im doing (which some of you may know what it is) has the banner in, but its the one from the old command squad.
So il just stick them to that. It\'l only be one or two.

Freakinacage advised me to use prayer flags instead, and just stick them to machinery and, the banner/flag.

hey all...just thought i would throw in my 2 cents here...i don\'t play, i just paint what i like the look of, but i have been an addict for the stories of the 40k universe for many years...as far as i\'ve ever found in the fluff, regardin\' the guard, the commanders would at times be givin\' gifts from a space marine that they have impressed in the field of battle...this would definitely work for the DOK, as they are suppossed to be fearless, and hard as nails...i would inly give them to the command squad models, to make the purity seals appear all the more special...i have given my elysian captain a bolt pistol, purity seal, and holster from the marine sprue, so it looks as if he has been givin\' a rare gift from a chapter he had fought alongside in the past...
here\'s a few pics...
please to enjoy...

Great trooper

Thats one of the best drop troopers I have ever seen.

Just to through my opinion in her, Yes IG can wear purity seals. Don\'t over do it though, as most Guardsmen don\'t live long enough to amas lots of honors and such
