Which model? I tried taking close-up shots with my DSC-P8 and failed miserably. No matter how I adjusted the camera\'s settings, the mini would appear blurry. I attributed the problem to my particular camera not having a macro lens, but if your model is similar and you\'re getting good results, perhaps there is some method I\'ve yet to try for good results.

@Humble: P8 does have a macro setting (the flower icon) which has a minimum focal distance of 10cm. If you used the macro setting, are you sure that it isn\'t motion blur (camera shaking).

I use a Cybershot P100.. works fine! It\'s really handy.. and thake excellent outdoor shots as well.

Sony DSC W70 is excellent too. Takes wonderful normal shots as well as macro Mmm... photography :drool:

I just bought a Canon A620 and dang it has nice macro. It can focus with the lense touching the miniature, now that\'s what I call close! Got it on EBay for just over $200 plus shipping including a 1gb card.
