It seems that would be a hard mini to photograph because of its awkward size.

From what I can see, the blending and colors all look wonderful.

I think a close up of his face would help give a more accurate comment.

The only thing I would change is to add a bit more red-pink-whatever to warm up the face and set it apart from the robe. Nice paint job!

I\'d say maybe smooth out the transitions on his dress a bit. Don\'t like the mini itself because to me the look on his face says \"Someone just poured icewater in my codpiece\".

That said, the color choices work nicely and you did an awesome job on the shoulder eagle.

Looks good to me. I think the gold looks good. I especially like the gun. The sword doesn\'t quite seem right to me however, it doesn\'t appear to match the quality of the rest of the figure. I also think the green could maybe use a highlight to bring it out, but the whole look of the figure is a little pale, so it could go either way. Great work.

Wow, Looks great! Everything looks great, but, the sword looks a little funky. The pic on my end looks a lil fuzzy, Or it my just be this computer (shhhh i dont need glasses)

Looks nice. As has been said, it could be blended more, though it almost looks like the stark contrasts were a stylistic choice? I mostly say that because it looks like the high contrast/less blending is pretty consistent and the effect on the sword looks like you\'re going for a more \"comic-like\" feel, if you pardon the comparison.

Wow thanks for all the comments.

Should I replace it with this pic?

Should I replace it with this pic?

No I don\'t think so. several places are washed out, on that one and the highlights of the robe look very harsh.

It looks very nice in the first picture, I second the comment about the fleshtone though.

I agree with Avelorn don\'t replace the picture with the one here if you haven\'t photoshoped this pic then try re-shooting it but put some baking paper/greaseproof paper infront of the lamps this will soften the light and hopefully cure the washout problems.

Very nicely done boyzie. I have to agree with what has been said here. I think between the lot of them they pretty well summed up the mini. I really like the dirtying up of his robes at the botom, nice touch. Although it may be a little to uniform. I think I would like to see some mud splotches elsewere.

I would also keep the original picture. It is a little fuzzy but that\'s okay you can still see that you put time and care into painting this. I think if you were to put up a new pict I would like to see a close up of the face and a back shot as well. You might even consider putting a close up of his sword.

Also as was not familair with your stuff before now, I am going to take a few moments and peruse your gallery. :D

Hey there, nice work, what I can see I like. I wouldn\'t do the replacement, definatly doesn\'t look as strong. But If you could use the idea of that replacement and enlarge the inset photo by 2 or 3x that would give us a look at all the face detail. What I see I like, well done!
