Guys here is a 3 part article I wrote awhile back for a group I belong to called Camospecsonline. I have made some changes since the article was written and I never did complete the background one.

Now since I will be moving into a dedicated Paint Shop soon I was thinking of tweaking and updating the articles plus adding the 4th section I never got around to which is the editing side.

I would love some feedback on things I could improve in the article or add..... I will be expanding this to cover all types of minis not just mechs. I am working on my site to reopen soon and want to have a weekly tip section and this article in 4 parts will prob. be my opening tips.

not bad. I\'d like to see some pics of the backgrounds you mention - I think a few simple pics of swept backgrounds (blue/white fade or 30% gray) would avoid a lot of explanation.

I like the examples of the depth of field/aperature changing. I do this in a reverse engineered fashon, I set the camera to shutter priority and set for as long as it will let me - usually about a quarter second.

Thanks for the feedback. I\'m looking at updating now that I have a decent computer again. I likw the idea of the faded backgrounds the only problem is the site that is ment for the shots need to be on terrain.

As soon as the shop at the new house is up and running I plan on showing how I built the terrain I use now for my shots on the CSO board.

Anyone else have any input.
