Would this be legal as a 40k squad entry?

This is taken from gw uk homepage.
Category 2: Warhammer 40,000 Squad This category is for Warhammer 40,000 squads or squadrons of five or more models. This is also the category for Epic 40,000 detachments and includes gangs and mobs from Necromunda. All squads must be \'legal\' in game terms. Judges will be looking for units that best exemplify the qualities and character of the army they represent. This category DOES include squadrons of bike-mounted models provided they are organised into a unit of five or more models. Larger vehicle models should be entered into Category 3. All models should be mounted on an appropriately sized gaming base. Units or squads of models from Forge World\'s Imperial Armour may be entered in this category.

Where does it say playable? you can enter whatever you want as long as it makes sence and consist of no less than 5 models.

so then I the answer would be a warboss with 4 nobs is not ok.
but a warboss with 5 nobs is, since the nobs entry is 5-10 for a legal game unit.

Basically a legal squad from the codex. A character plus retinue is legal.

Warboss + Nobz is perfectly legal. As to whether you need four or five nobz it comes down to the book. I can\'t imagine the judges would worry too much if there were only four nobz (they sometimes show discretion if the entry is in the spirit of the rules) but if the codex says five I\'d go with it if at all possible.

im not sure because surley a warboss with 4 nobz is 5 models in the unit so as long as you can have 4 in the codex i would say it would be ok

I checked the Codex and Nobz mobs are minimum of 3 figures so 4 shouldn\'t be a problem.

Technically a Warboss is an independant character but if anyone worries you can always just say he\'s a big Nob.
