Would you purchase a Vallejo Color Wheel?

I am curious as to how many of you would purchase a Vallejo Color Wheel for their Model Color line if they were to produce one. I have contacted Vallejo and would like to provide an avenue for them to check to see if it would be marketable to produce one.

Yes, a wheel would be good. One could be made by buying a colour wheel, then reproducing it using vallejo paints.

Nope.

But then again, I took Arts as an optional course in highschool, so, I don\'t really need one anyway...

Um... to me the color wheel would only serve two functions:
Show what colors are available
Show the complementary colors

I can get the swatches on any color by going to any reputable place online that sells them and I\'ve already memorized the color wheel.

It\'s simple: Remember the primaries Red, Yellow, Blue and you can get any contrasting color by addition. For exampl, the color Blue\'s complementary is Orange (Yellow+Blue) if it was a Dark Blue, then it\'s Complementary is a Yellow-Orange. Simple! :p

As Errex and Chrispy \'ve already said, a regular ol\' color wheel wouldn\'t be of great use. I already know it by heart. What might be of use, however, is one specifically for their colors by thier names.

As an aside, a minor rant: The names they (and GW) give thier colors drive me crazy!!! I suppose there are two reasons:
1) I was an art major, so I know what Burnt Umberis and Cerulean Blue, etc, etc, but I have no idea what Goblin Green or Vomit Brown is and
2) I\'m an Old Fart and don\'t want to learn colors all over again.
I wish they could just name them normal names!!!

Okay [rant:OFF]

Here is what I sent

I sent this, what I was interested in seeing is a color wheel that has their specific color lines which would appear as they would on a standard web safe color wheel. Maybe I wasnt clear with my original post. I understand the theory of color, and studied art myself for a number of years, but I have always been a little overwhelmed by the shear number of colors in the Model Color line. Anyways here is the post I made.

I realize it would be an effort to create such a wheel as your company provides by far the most extensive color line I have seen. In fact I do not know if your company has any dealings with the “The Color Wheel” manufacturer’s but they have a web safe and process color wheel that I actually use to try and place the close to 120 model colors I have purchased in the Vallejo line. Here is a link to the wheel I have that does assist me somewhat with your vast color range.

Is this something that you could contract out for them to provide for you? Possibly instead of the Hexadecimal numbers that the Web Safe Color wheel provides, maybe list the catalogue or reference number printed on the color chip on the wheel, and then include your chip chart with the wheel to provide a means of cross referencing the wheel to the paint’s name. As the chip chart I have already from your company is translated in several languages, the wheel would only have to contain your standardized numbering system. It is just a thought, however I do believe your company could actually sell a good many of these products, it would be a great tool.

I have started a poll on this very topic on the CoolMiniOrNot website in their forum section if you would be interested in seeing if this would be a venture that your company would consider.
