How big of a place is York? ie how many people live there?

About 8,000. Not an overly large place, but not a one-horse town either.

Perfect size. I'm moving in....

LOL....actually, there is a town called Waverly, just north of me, that I used to be the 'telephone' man in. It's about that same size as York. We almost bought a house there, but the deal fell through. I still think I may move there once my kids are out of school.

It's big enough to have the conveniences, but small enough to have all the charm.

The area I live in now is about 120,000 or so. Too many damn people, too much crime...

York looks like an excellent place to live, as long as Braveheart doesn't show up...(didn't he sack York?)

It really is a perfect size; small town feel with the conveniences of a city.
