This is a really cool, bizarre model! What line is it from?
I agree with the Freak, that the photography is letting you down a little. You should look into getting or making a photo box/tent, which will cut down on the glare that you are getting on the mini. Also, the background is a little distracting; I think it\'s better to use a sheet of paper that is one solid color, or maybe one that is a gradation.
For the lightbox, try some googling to see if you can find anything that will work for you (I bought a \"professional\" one on Ebay for around $20, but they are easy to make). If you can\'t find anything let me know and will find some links for you.
For the painting, I think you did a good job. The base is really cool, but I think you should prime and paint the stones that you used there. The natural stones don\'t generally work if they are unpainted. I\'m not sure why, but it might have something to do with them being out of scale, or because they look too natural, while the mini is fantasy-oriented.
It looks sufficiently freaky, though.
