X-Acto blades

Anyone know an online shop I can get some x-acto blades. It\'s been a while since I bought the last ones and it seems the shop I got them from no longer sells them.

Yes, but I need an online shop in case I\'m going through one of my bad patches and I can\'t get to the shops. Anyway, I think I\'ve found what I\'m looking for.

funny I was having the same problem cheers for the link.. I have a local shop that gets them in but they have been low on supplies lately.. I your struggling drop me a pm with sizes / styles your ater and next time I\'m in I can have a mooch and grab some if they are there for ya....

Thanks, DH, although I\'m okay for now. I went to town yesterday (although not to buy any blades) and I don\'t seem any worse for wear. Incidentally, have you, or anyone else used one of those swivel knives and if so, are they any good and what thickness of plasticard could they cut?

I usually purchase my x-Acto blades on eBay. you might try that. Same for surgical blades for my scalpel.

Buy in bulk. I\'ve been working on the same two packages I purchased 10+ years ago (each package has 100 blades). Doesn\'t hurt that I\'m cheap with them and use them as long as possible. Much cheaper when purchased in bulk especially if you go through a lot of them.

a 100 count box lasts me 2 months if Im lucky..

Your local hardware store should probably carry them. Or (get this) your local sewing purveyor.

No I\'ve seen them a few times, but knowing my level of \"dexterity\" (ie Clumsy git) I\'ve opted to stay away from them.
