Hmmm...

I have a lot of sympathy for Mr Derrhu here. Bob needs a good spanking.

Also, next time we decide to invade somewhere, I think the guys in uniform should be allowed to chose;)

Hell, yes! The guys in uniform are likely to go cleaning up their own countries. lol

And wow, I\'m quite surprised at the reaction the mention of Mugabe has had. You guys are almost as passionate about him as we are here.

I think a lot of people would have chosen to go after Mugabe:|~ ahead of going to Iraq.

As for the guys in Uniform choosing I bet a lot would go for a sweep through their own countries. I\'d love to see some of the wannabe gangsters and scallys that live near me having to explain themselves to someone from the Paras.lol

That\'s a really good idea!

We should invade ourselves first...Just so we know what it feels like and to give the boys some practice.

Geeeez, I go to the movies...

and you guys turn this whole thing around! This is about partying, like it\'s your birthday! lol

Strange thing is, I just saw Star Wars and I detected a weird parralel.

\"But Chancellor (president), isn\'t declaring yourself \'Emperor\' and trying to rule the whole ball of wax evil?\"

\"No my young Shwartzcoff, only by crushing all opposition and ruling everyone will we be able to insure peace and a stable Empire.\"

\"Yesssss Darth Bush...\"

Hmmmm... ruling the world in order to SAVE THE WORLD? I think I\'ve heard that song before...

heh heh lol Everyone have a good holiday, wherever you are, and don\'t worry, sooner or later we\'ll get around to your own local dictators. In the name of truth, justice, and the American way...

Hallajuah! Praise the Lord! ;)

I love you guys. lol:bouncy::flip:

Hmmm....

There are a few of us who\'d like to \'get around\' to your little dictator as well.

As we are suffering a bit of dictator tomfoolery ourselves at the moment however, that could be a little difficult.

At least the ****er can\'t be elected again and even Mr B Liar as said he will resign this term.

Trouble is...what disgusting form of pond life is waiting in the wings??? I dread to think:|~

Funny you should mention that. I had that impression too at a given point. Also because of the Anakin saying \"those who are not with us are against us\". Any idea where Spielberger stands if it comes to Bush?

Anyway, to see if we can get back on topic. So, if I understood it correctly memorial day is to commemorate soldiers who have died in past wars? We have something like that too the day before liberation day. But for us the 4th of may \"dodenherdenking\"(the rememberance day for the dead) is for all Dutch who died in wars. Primarily those from WWII but in later years other conflicts and peace keeping missions are included too. This day is pretty serious and solemn. The day after, \"bevrijdingsdag\" (\"liberationday\"), is the party day here. That\'s when the end of WW2 for the Dutch is celbrated. Concerts throughout the country and parties everywhere.

Bye, Ming-Hua

Yup, that is what Memorial Day is supposed to be.

What it really turns out is a bunch of \'half off\' sales at the local Wal-mart and department stores.

There are still those who remember though.

You know, this forum is getting so serious it\'s getting downright maudlin. :|~

I wasn\'t referring to your personal leader Finn, or anyone else\'s on here. I referring to the guys that people asked US to go after, like N.Vietnam and that other African dude. Lighten up, this thread was meant to have fun, not show any disrespect to anyone. Certainly not to veterans, without whom I wouldn\'t have the freedom to party in their honor. The great thing about a democracy is that you get a chance to elect a new idiot every few years; so let me get back to my brewski\'s and barbecuiing, and everyone smile. :D
