YB miniatures

hello fellas

as it said on the UK GW website on the white dwarf preview for june\'s issue of White dwarf that the exact description of the GD categorys would be in there....

but since I live in NE they wont be in the WD I will get, so I wonder if YB\'s are aloud to enter Terminators in Golden Demon?

and are we aloud to enter them om 40mm round bases from Privateer Press miniatures?

I just thought about that since the Eldar lord that took the Silver in the French GD 40k single was placed on one ^^

Really? Strange would normally get disqualified in the UK.

larre,

what are you doing entering the yb. you are good enough for the big leagues. step up bud. i know you can do it. as for bases. just like dr said. its gotta be gw. i had a friend whose was disqualified for it last year in chicago.

Yep, Termies are allowed on 40mm bases. But I\'d definitely steer clear of using PP bases if I were you, even if Thomas David got away with it:

You wouldn\'t want to get disqualified over something like that when you\'re going to win a gold! ;)

@uber. I don\'t know what to do yet actually ^^, But I\'m playing with different ideas :) One is Marneus Calgar, but I have so many ideas it\'s almost like I cant make up my mind, it has to stand out from the rest, and I\'m planning to do a conversion of some sort... I don\'t know for sure yet. But my Golden Demon entries I will keep as a secret, if anyone is intrested in helping and giving constructive critique, you are wellcome to notify me ^^

I think I will try to get started on my YB entry in June or July. I have already started a redgiment for GD :)

and yeah, I will probably stay out of using PP bases I guess :p

it will be great fun to see how I do in Golden demon, I look forward to it so much :D

and I\'m really looking forward to see everyones minis! :D

anyhow i have an idea but i wont be ready this year since it is in chicago in july. not enough time for my entry. lets put it this way, i am doing an open competition between orcs and vampires during the day.

it should be ........entertaining....... in the least. :rolleyes:

i dont think dwarves like to lose money?!
