The lascannons and autocannons are mounted on the Bronzino Galloper Gun carriages from the old dogs of war line. I have the limbers for them all somewhere.
The heavy bolter trolley is the original guard heavy bolter/autocannon trolley with plastic wheels and the seat cut off.

Might try some myself. Pity the mini\'s are so hard to come by nowadays. Think I\'ll put a shout out in the wanted section.
I\'m toying with the idea of converting Cadian plastics but I just can\'t be bothered sculpting and casting new torsos and heads. If only GW mail order wasn\'t so unwilling to take my money.

Added the bit I was waiting for to Belial. It\'s a White lion head from the new High Elf chariot. I\'m intending to do it up as a lion pelt, Lion ElJohnson - lion pelt, get it?

Love those barrel boyz! Purely brilliant and inspired.
I had some time to kill in town so I took a load of stuff into GW to paint. The ambient light in there is surprisingly good and if you can stand the crappy music they play it\'s not a bad place to sit and paint the day away. Here\'s some progress on the robot space pope.
I was quite reticent about doing the red on the cap as I can\'t see it very well but according to the guys in the shop it looks OK...
I need to finish fading the checks on his bolt on cap and dirty up the grey armour plates but he\'s coming along reasonably well I think.

Well he\'s been to the Bad Doks for some embiggening treatment.
Next job is to sculpt him a napoleonic style biker jacket with epaulettes and a big collar like on the original. Plenty of little jungly bells too so the boyz know he\'s coming.
I thought a mere choppa wasn\'t really an important enough weapon for the Robot Space Pope so now he has a the option of an interchangable, extra killy power Klaw.
I\'ve also pretty much finished the checks on his bolt-on offisaz kap.
I\'m also much happier with the Kernuls \"metal mitten\" now I\'ve settled on some larger fadey checks. I think it looks less plain but not busy enough that it makes him look like a harlequin.
Also, with the imminent release of the new Wampire stuff I\'ve dug out all my old zombies etc. and sorted out my unit of Black Knights. Here\'s one with a Flaaaaaaaaaaaag[size=-2]tm[/size].
Trouble is, now I can\'t decide on an emblem to go with for the army. I\'m going for a Strigoi themed force but I want some degree of similarities to tie the army together. I think the best way to do this is through the banners and shields. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome.

Undave, I really like your barrel boyz idea. It\'s very similar to an idea I had for some coffin skeletons I had.
Anyway, I was admiring your pictures when I had a really Orky idea. (Don\'t tell my mates I said that) What if you made one of those barrel boyz with a big metal eyepatch? How orky would that be!?

Ahhhhh now then duckie you might just have solved the problem of keeping the barrelboss from pitching over forwards at the drop of a hat. That big metal gob makes him somewhat less than stable so a bit of extra weight on the back cretainly wouldn\'t go amiss.
Screamy face is a possiblity for the flag, good idea WP. I had thought of a bat type thing but I wasn\'t completely sold on it.
