Yearbook Info - Post painting accomplishments!

I wanted to a \"page\" to the Yearbook for painter\'s accomplishments in the past year. So...I was wondering if people would be interested in sharing their wins for on-line competions, local game shop awards, etc.

I know there are going to be some people who have a ton of awards, BUT I\'d also like to highlight those people who can\'t make it to GD\'s and other painting competitions and enter their stuff on-line and locally.

So, before I go trolling for information I\'d like to get some feedback on whether people are interested in sharing/seeing that info or not.

Thanks,
RD

I don\'t really care if the accomplishments are mentioned or not, but if they are...

- 2nd place in MalleusMiniArt\'s Rackham painting competition
- 1st place in Wyrd Games Total Testosterone - Fantasy
- 2nd place in Wyrd Games Total Testosterone - Best in show
- Article featured in Darkson Design\'s painting guide

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

It\'ll make my \"job\" that much easier when it comes time to compile all the info.

@Naukhel & Ebonbuddha - both of those would count in my book, BUT some others might not see it that way ;) (I think Schmuckette prizes ought to count too! :D )

@Avicenna - Yep, a new Yearbook is being assembled and I need a new pic of you AND any pics of you and Tracy and/or any other group pics (with other CMONers) that you have. Post them to the PYP II thread and be sure to name the other people in a group shot.

Not everyone in the forums paints, so I vote no. Let\'s just say we\'re all successful forum-goers and keep it there. Unless you\'re talking GENERAL accomplishments? I successfully quit painting lol Saying that, I \'borrowed\' some paints last week and painted half a figure for the sake of nostalgia :D

I also won one of the Adikolor Paint Contests at Origins, which rewarded me with a complete set of Adikolor paints in a really nice wooden case. It may not sound like much, but it was a big boost to me.

My accomplishments are shamefully non existant.

I once won the in-store painting contest in the WH40K single miniature category with my version of Grey Knight captain Stern, errr that\'s it. It is my own fault I never enter any competitions it is not a side of the hobby that I realy enjoy.

Yeah, I think a page of accomplishments would be great! Here are mine:

1. Um.
2. Er.
3. I guess I can ride my bike real fast.

If it was only that simple...I painted bits here, there and everywhere, like a patch-work quilt :D

@Mark - I swears it wasn\'t likes that!
