Well - I have to say those models are "far away from my G-spot" :) as tanks and soo .... but I really like to watch your painting progress on anything (even if it's easter eggs :) Same as for BPI, that plastic made me think about a possibilities of painting translucent stuff and I have to say, I have no even idea how you doing that :) Simply amazing :) Really wondering how far you will go with that one.
Also I missed lots of updates - so trying to contribute at least in my favorite threads in return to ppl commenting my weirdo stuff .) So cheers hun - enjoy the progress and keep us updated :)

Hallo Desmon.

Thank you for your compliment.

I have founded a Social Group for german painters. Perhaps youre are willing to join? There we can speak very freely in german. Because I dont feel it very right, to speak only in German on an english forum. There will be some people, that will not understand, but are willing to join the discussion. So it is a little pity...

Well I am paint since August the 17th 2007. This was the date, when I bought the first woodelfs...

Tips? If I can help you I surely will answer. So ask your question freely.

Greetings, Taggi.

Hallo Desmon.

Taggi, I'd just like to say thanks for coming to the english boards. I really think you add a little something to the WiP&PL section.

Your work is fantastic, I am really impressed and now that you say you have only been painting a few years, wow you really have blown my mind.

If i could paint only half as good as you I would be very very happy!

Keep up the great work, it really helps people like me who hope to one day improve to see the wonderful artwork that can be done with a model.

Do you have a background in art by chance, because you really do have a lot of artistic talent.

I love how the walker is coming out.

I'll have to give this a shot sometime, now that I can see how it's done.

Thank you guys.

@ Background in art:
Well I had art in the school. And my parents dragged me through every big museum in europe like prado, vatikan, louvre and so on... but after school there were only a few revell miniatures of airplanes... and some scetches... but nothing rearly what you can call art.

But still have some questions:

What does "WiP&PL" mean? WIP is I think "work in Progress" and "PL"?

What does "I'll have to give this a shot" mean? That you will paint a warwalker, or try that ornaments, or shot my hubbys warwalker dead? *smile*

Greetings, Taggi

Keep it up Taggi!! Everything looks Great!!

I like how you have an organic feel to your painting style on your eldar's vehicles.

You have become an inspiration and role model to some members on this site.

Thanks for sharing

Thank you very much.

Well if you take Mr. Arnie in addition it will be five... but he is not finished. Well I try to learn a technique or a detail with every mini I paint for showcase, so I hope to improve myself.

If yellow one would be proud, we will see. I will send him a PM, when it is finally finished.

To exceed my "delivery time" that somebody wished from me, here a little update in the attachement.
And a shock of mine: The windshield I have to repaint. I have done :poop: to it and have to repaint entirely... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Well pilot is finished, except the arms... *laugh* so another two weeks time...

Greetings, Taggi

It means I'll try out the style... maybe on a different model, though.

I might also shoot it dead, if I'm ever in the area and your husband fields it in a game. :D
