Just kidding!! Well, I finished my first Rackham figure, a Guardian of the Runes and here is the front and back view of him. I do not know how to combine them, so here they are separate. I am not too happy with my picture, so if anyone has some tips, please help.
I decided to go with kittykat32uk\'s fluffy wolfen article, as suggested by Klute (Thanks to both), for the fur effect.

...Been watching this take shape! ;) And I have to say it\'s tured out a dream! The fur seems great,really fluffy :D The blade however is my favourite piece,bloody brilliant!! ;):cool: top job,it inspired me to attempt a go myself,cheers :D;)

Truely excellent job James, I just wish there was a wee bit more contrast on certain zones, but that could come from the picture. Keep it up ;).

Awsome job, you seem to be rapidly improving :D The only critic I would make would be that the pot he\'s holding seems a bit to pinkish. The blade is awsome though. Keep it up.

Great! somewhere between 8-9. a bit hard to judge because of the size of the picture. But the blends look smooth to me so.. I went with a 9 :) (8.5 really)

do you have photoshop?
Open the front view, change \"canvas size\" to approx twice the hight. open the back view. Use the marque tool and cut it out (ctrl+c), insert it in the front view.(ctrl+v) and save for web.

On photography, a simple way is to use the \"photographing with one lamp\" article. i use that one anyway. You seem to have a lot of light right on top of the mini that leave glares. If you use bulbs you could try to diffuse them a bit with a semi-transparent material.. like the paper they throw round flowers.

You can also try to use white paper under the mini to see if that removes even more glare. IMO the best thing is to use a gradient paper. It has white under the mini and a darker colour where the camera measures the light. The result should be well exposed pictures with no glare.

I will take a look at the free program, because I don\'t have photoshop. I tried combining pictures using windows paint program, but to say that the quality of the photo was butchered is an understatement. Thanks,

Alright, I got my image made, but when I submitted it, it said:

So... I went to check the dimensions, and they are 474 width and 1245 height. Is that too big, because I have seen some tall pictures?

I\'m not sure about that...

but here is the gradient I use (photoshoppers have the program do it for them) I just stick this behind my minis...
