Yet another airbrush thread.

So I have read through several of the threads here on CMON but still have a question. I was just looking around on the internet for airbrushes in the uk and found airbrush pro uk. I read on some thread earlier that these airbrushes werent too bad but wanted to clarify ( i cant find that thread now though). I was looking at the BD 135 for an airbrush and for the Compressor I was looking at the AS186. Would they be any good for basic base coating and some basic shading highlighting on 54mm and up minis? I know Einion said in a thread a little bit earlier that cheap airbrush set up was nearly impossible but one can hope right? So thoughts?

They offer about the cheapest metal-body airbrushes I've seen but I can't speak to their build quality or how well they spray. However they do have spare parts, something a number of non-brand ABs don't, so at least you know if you bend a needle or damage a cone it's not the end of the story.

FWIW that compressor does seem to tick all the boxes in terms of features. No telling how well it's made or will hold up over time though; worth doing some searching to see if you can find any user reviews or feedback (on both).

If you want to go just a little more upmarket for the AB, consider the Premi-Air G35 which you should be able to find for around 30 quid before P&P.

Thank Einion. I thought everything looked ok and couldnt find anything wrong with it so I thought I would post on here to see if anyone had any experience with it. I found a review of the airbrush if anyone else is interested here. No real reviews of the compressor to be found but everything I can see on the forums says its well built and lasts a while.
Might go for it once I get some spare cash as its not too pricey.
