Hello there!
yes i know there are lots of topics about testors dullcote here but i still haven`t found answer to my question: does anyone know a source from which i could get it in Europe (no UK)? or at least a shop that will ship to Europe...

I tried searching for Testors on Swedish sites and managed to find a distributor who mainly targeted RC hobby stores. They carried Testor\'s whole paint range and I also found a list of their customers. So, I found a store near my work place and got them to order some Dullcoat for me. Maybe you could try the same for Polish distributors?

There is always the option on having it shipped via ground from the US or other countries that carry it. I looked into it once for some one in England. I could probabably dig up the info again.

Incorrect. There is ground between the USA & Europe, only it\'s under several thousand feet of Water.

@Sonnyslayer: as long as it`s ground (surface :D ) mail there should be no problem (if it was all about the same countryu there propably would be no sprays in Poland availible lol ). in fact i`m quite surprised and dissapointed that the UK shops I`ve found does not ship to \'continent\' . there`s definietely an option to send a package not via airmail ( at last as postal laws in UK are similar to polish ones). it simply takes longer - and i`m willing to wait as long as i get the can of the legendary testors :D.

I\'ve got four cans of it so let me know if you can\'t find it in any stores. I\'m in the U.S. so it might be a bit of a pain but it is just a thought.

Drop me an email and we can send you some by surface mail.

The reason we have to say we only ship it within the UK is because we have no way of \"forcing\" continental buyers to only order via surface mail, and not using airmail.

But, as you say, its fine to go by surface mail. We\'ve also just got the brush-on lacquer in stock so the timing might be ideal (as we\'ve waited 8 months for a re-stock on the brush-on)

@ Przemas here is what I told the last guy that wanted some, he was in England. He wanted 10 cans, so your price may very, depending on how many cans you want. 10 cans just to buy them would be around $40.00-$45.00, I believe they are $3.29 each plus tax. All right then after playing around with the US postal website, I found that I could ship up to 5 pounds for $23.00, if you wanted insurance that would be $1.85 extra. Now the Dullcote cans weigh 3 oz\'s each thus 10 of them would be 30 oz\'s which is just under 2 pounds.

I hope this helps. It is of course going to be cheeper to get them from Europe or England so that is your best bet. But my understanding is they can be very hard to find over there. Here I can stumble over them just walking down the street. Again hope this helps.

Over at the tank forum people are using dullcote of modelmaster. Has anybody tried this? It\'s a subbrand of Testors so I\'m wondering if it\'s the same stuff.

I\'ll send a mail to Testors to ask over there too.

Bye, Ming-Hua

I\'ve used the paint-on modelmaster dullcote. It leaves a completely matte finish and makes the surface rock hard, like the mini\'s been covered in transparent concrete. Excellent for tabletop minis. I wouldn\'t recommend it for display pieces though, since it\'s difficult to get it to dry completely evenly.
