is she jessica simpson?

there has been some mention of me being aformentioned Jessica Simpson.

i figured id clear things up, and with my competition coming up here in 2 days, i figured id give you a pretty rough (on the website you see how we did it, and how flat i was) first glance

nice! you sound great, although the recording set up sounds like it\'s very suspect, and I think there are a few places that can definately be perfected, you have a wonderful voice!

It won\'t let me download the \"womans worth\" song though :(

Blaooow,my girl\'s proppa:eek::bouncy:(You have to say that in London twang or it don\'t sound right!!):DIt must be great being multi-talented,Iwouldn\'t know what to do with my hands!!!Seriously though that is a good sound.I voted for the Keys one(it was 50/50 then),I got a proper buzz halfway through on the second listen,it all came together there and you were full flow,that\'s what we like to hear.That beat suits you better in my opinion and shows attitude,emotion and kind of reflects you better I feel.Good luck,you gwan an\' rip it up gyal!!!Don\'t take no ish from nobody with their trousers pulled too high(Simon Cowell types) :bouncy:lol (Don one-Solo mafia)

I finally figured out how to hear the womans worth song so I could vote. However I voted for a moment in time. It gives becca a chance to really show her range, unlike the alicia keys song as much. I think she also sounds much more comfortable with a moment in time, and while I\'m sure with practice she could nail a womans worth, it sounds a bit further away right now from the recordings. She didn\'t sound comfortable with it.

If the competition was further away, I would have voted for a womans worth just because it\'s a much better song (I don\'t like kelly clarkson\'s brand of pop very much). But if its in 2 days...

Have you considered those massive cattle calls for American Idol--- you are still young enough and got da package baby. No lying. I\'d love to talk to someone who\'s gone.

I\'ve just been listening a few times to the two songs. You seem more in control in \"a moment like this\" than \"woman\'s worth\". I would consider the later to be more interesting but I think that will take more practise. So I\'ll be voting for \"a moment like this\".

Anyway, break a leg. Go show them. :bouncy:

Edit. Ugh, messed up voting. That should be one vote more for \"a moment like this\" and one less for the other. Knew I shouldn\'t try voting before I had my coffee! Oh, and remember us when you\'re rich and famous. :)

Wow, on top of beeing a good painter you\'re also a great singer. Those two recordings are great. I like \"a moment like this\" better though. You sound more comftarbal with it. Hop you really make it on that contest :D

@praetorian- I am going to American Idol next year. they came to orlando this year, but i couldnt do it with school. .. next year :D

Becca, you\'ve got a beautiful voice! A small tip, if you will: try to sing more boldly, don\'t be afraid to show the best of your voice. And good luck with the competition!

Ok! So I officially withdraw my flippant reference to you and Jessica Simpson. ;)

I\'m impressed - very impressed! You\'ve got a wonderful voice. I voted for Womans Worth, but either one would do I\'d say. It was very cool to hear your voice! Thanks for sharing those with us.

Ah, but that tip is not a small one. Open your throat, ipm, don\'t retrain the resonance that is there. Good luck!
