I did this Reaper Palace Guard this morning. She was sitting there, all primed and glued together, and I decided (in a fit of random craziness) to see what I could do with 2 hours before I went to bed (I work nights, so yes, that makes sense).
First, I broke that way-cool weapon off again, so that I could basecoat with GW\'s Flesh Wash, and then I went to town.
Contrary to appearances in the photo, those ARE different colours on cloak and robe. The cloak\'s base colour is Hawk Turquoise (GW), with Enchanted Blue (GW) and Ice Blue (GW) accentings, while the robe is based with Tamiya\'s Light Grey, GW\'s Shadow Grey, and Aqueous IJN Grey. I\'m very annoyed that she looks so monochromatic in the picture, really. She isn\'t. But you\'ll just have to trust me on that.
Anyway... The corset\'s Blazing Orange (GW), and not at all identical to the Dwarf Flesh (GW) used on her arms between the armoured bits (can you see the difference?)
The armour is actually four shades of grey, starting with Tamiya\'s German Grey, but I forget where I went from there, now.
I finished 15 minutes ahead of my deadline, which I should have used to do something with the base, I guess, but I took the pictures instead. So the base is just painted flatly to look vaguely like sand. I promise, I\'ll do something more interesting with it, later.

If I did I\'d probably pass out in amazement lol I don\'t think I\'ve ever finished something in a day.I\'m terrible for that(half my figures still have silver feet lol ) Great job with so many firsts,nothing like jumping in with both feet! You can just see the colour differential on the cloak,maybe a closer pic will remedy that,I\'m sure someone will know
