okay.. first of all, I\'d like to congratulate Bill for his Gold in YB, didn\'t get a chance to do it at the event... second... Nima! great work you did on that dwarflord of yours! it\'s good to have someone to keep Swedens reputation in GD!

aswell, I\'d like to congratulate Tom (OrkBoy) for the minor success I would say, a youngblood that entered 40k squad and made the first cut! that\'s some pretty good work you did there, oh! and btw, please take a pic of your entry, I would love to see it closer with some close-ups!

and at last congrats to Luis Gomes Pradal, that could bring home a slayer sword with him! didn\'t see his carnifex though, so I can\'t really have an oppinion about it, but one thing I do know... my favorite miniature at GD UK 2oo7 was a kind of baby like mini, with a tank on his back, and he held a burning pole, or spear or something like that. great work indeed! don\'t quite know who painted it though... I would be very intrested to know!

and also... who got the silver in YB?? I think it was some spanish guy, don\'t know his name and I don\'t think I saw entry either...

and the giant quig riding goblin! who painted that?! and did it win anything?

and at last the wolf guards! who painted them? I think it was open category, it said \"Wolf Guard, a company of wolves\" on the display base! would love to know!

and the last final point! as you might have known, I didn\'t do very well at all in YB. but it wasn\'t too bad anyway! now my entries are in the display cabinet in GW stockholm, for those swedes intrested droping in to see them, they are there now.. Yriel, Ork Warboss, Gotrek and Celeborn, Yriel and Ork warboss got silver in the fang FTM!

anyway, I think the right entries won in YB!
Bill! great work!
Nima! great work!
Spanish guy! great work!

Sven Jonsson
David Rodriguez (kairakal) won the slayer :)

Cedric Lurkin painted the large scale model you are talking about.

And you should have made it into the finals in youngblood!

Yeah I\'m very happy that Nima upheld our honor while we others dropped out..! haha.. I\'ve got his piece right here as he didn\'t want to transport it himself. Might snap some good shots of it today.

Yeah, I\'m with Sven, you definately should have got into the finals! I\'m sorry I didn\'t see your minis irl :(

Yep, congrats to Bill and Nima for their YB successes, as well as everyone else! As for the silver YB, maybe it was the guy who did THIS?

Larre - I\'m gonna try and take some photos of my entry, but my photographing skillz leave a lot to be desired ;) So it could be a while before you see some piccies... perhaps you\'ll get a \'teaser\' shot or two though ;)

Cheers,
Tom

Thanks Larre :0 i felt really bad for you that Celeborn didn\'t get into the finals :( He was a lot better than a lot of minis that did get in, IMO. There were a couple of entries that I thought were great but for some reason didn\'t get through - I think it\'s pretty unpredictable. I think that giant squig thingy was an old Forgeworld mini, and the Company Of Wolves was painted by someone who entered in loads of categories - I could tell by the similar painting and brass plaques. They had a WH squad, a WH single mini, 40K single and that open entry - really nice looking.

I saw the guy who won Silver in YB but didn\'t catch his name (the sound quality behind the stage as awful, much worse than last year!). His Arwen was great. He had a Spanish Team Community T-shirt on, so I guess he\'s on the forums there somewhere.

You know, when I first read the description of a baby like thing with a tanks on it\'s back, that wasn\'t what appeared in my head. I was wondering, what\'s a baby doing with a baneblade on its back? lol The actual thing is great though.

lol Lono, you looked kind of like I imagined you to. You reminded me of a cross between Thom Yorke and Damon Albarn too ;)

Is that a good thing? Both musically talented gents no doubt but visually I\'m not sure I like the comparison! lol

It\'s better than when I had longer hair. Far too many people told me I looked like a dude from Busted, who also turned out to be called James. Not such a good comparison.

The squig is I think done by a guy known as OldFogey on the Warhammer Forum - don\'t know his full name/real name - and he didnt win anything.
