good luck to them, people say this will be confusing for the child but if a child grows up in a family like this it will just think this is normal and probably be more understanding because of it. It takes all kinds of people to make up the world.

I think this is more \"natural\", if you want, than e.g. hiring an \"outsider\" to carry out your and your partner\'s baby. The way I see it, if Thomas\' wife is unable to bear a child, and Thomas isn\'t... where\'s the problem?

I think it\'s perfectly fine if the couple want a child and the wife has had a hysterectomy then more power to them. They\'re rather fortunate to have had this method to fall back on as I imagine many couples where the woman is infertile wouldn\'t have the option.

What makes me wonder is this:

The couple bought donor vials from a cryogenic sperm bank and, facing resistance and prejudice from doctors, resorted to home insemination.

How the hell would that work?

Yeah I know how artificial insemination works, my point is if he\'s trans-gender ,to put it in the words of Southpark, he now has a fireman instead of a woowoodilly. Well endowed as I am ( lol ) I\'d hesitate to put a turkey baster up my japs eye
