If my other half messes up big time, flowers are a nice greeting, but gift certificates to my usual haunts, and a night out without the kids usually gleans forgiveness from me I don\'t want \"bling bling\" in fact, we were married for over 11 years before I asked for (or wanted:wow: ) jewelery (other than engagement or wedding rings).
1st valentines day after marriage = a 30-30 rifle. I loved it, everyone else just scratched their heads.

I\'m not a big jewelery fan either, but I haven\'t \"broken in\" this hubby yet. We\'ll have known each other about two years on our first anniversary. Giving him a dirty look when he does his best to buy a nice present isn\'t the best way to keep the hubby happy.
He\'ll get it eventually. Very sweet, very trainable, and not too much need to beg forgiveness.
