Well, I have the 8+ (for an unpainted conversion), but not the 5 posts a day. Damn. Does this mean I have a year to wait?

1. Pick an avatar and stick with it.
2. Don\'t pick one that\'s hard to draw... :p

Just kidding, what with school and all I find it hard to sit down and draw out more characters, which I really should. One of the major problems I DO have is that when you\'re doing a comic, people are archetypes and a bit more exaggerated and I\'d hate to offend some people. It\'s also weird if you have too many people of like minds and like characters around, as a wide variety of characters is preferable. But rest assured I also have more characters planned from people here on Cmon.. I should warn you, though that \"Jane Doe\" is an amalgamation of most \"newbies\" and as such, that\'s why she is a ditz.... :p

Sorrry, I don\'t know about arriving as a painter, as I haven\'t left yet, but.......Being in Chrispys comic would be the highlight of my sad, sad life. But, y\'know, since everybody seems to want to be in it, can\'t we just compromise? Chrispy could draw a comic with all of us, just standin\' in a biiiig room. No dialogue, no humour, just a temporary ego boost. Or at the very least, include me! I mean, my avatar is freakin\' cartoon dog! Now how hard would that be to draw? \"Oh magnificent, splendiforous Chrispy, the God of All, please include me?\"

Anywhoo, ya can tell you\'ve arrived when: You look back at old posts, and start reminiscing about the good old days, just like an old geezer in a rocking chair...Or when you view newbies with a tolerant, patient, benevolent air, even though they may be:(pick one) Older, smarter, better painters, or just plain able to wipe your skinny ass in a fight.....:)

Actually, that lobster was semi-random.. it was originally a scorpion, but I didn\'t hink it was funny enough.. :p

Anyways, (and I may regret this) but if you are sincerely wanting to be in teh CMON toon, my Email is Zimbala666@hotmail.com If you have the original pic of your avatar, send it to me. Or, failing that, just describe who or what you are and where it comes form. For instance, I would send this to myself:

or, if I didn\'t ahve to original, I\'d say I was Vash the Stampede from Trigun. If you can\'t quite remember, any clue would be good, like \"that spikey haired guy from the space western anime..\".

Keep in mind my email has a limit, even though I\'ll just try to get the pic and info and delete it..

Oh dear chrispy, I think you maybe be kissing goodbye when the 2 million e-mails pour in, and your account is shut off, as they think you\'ve been spammed. But hey! It would make a good comic! Just ask Amelio the show slug beneath this post. (yes, I know it\'s sad that I\'ve named him...shut up!)

You arrived on the forums when people call you a hijacker :) and you and your online buddies start testing stuff in other threads lollipop , lolita , ....

Chrispy, I would not be offended to be in your cartoon. If I was easily offended, would I be posting here as \"airhead\"???lol

My avatar is from the band Queensryche, but my handle is for airbrush work (and sometimes thought patterns :rolleyes:).
But after yesterday, I am thinking of changing it to \"coffin dodger\".

But I will have arrived when I get a decent digicam and can start posting figs here.

Just a post to comment on my first criteria for \"arriving\" (which was mostly an attempt at relieving frustration with the worthless weasels who give out \"1\"s while hiding behind anonymity and distance) - it would seem that there is a filter to remove such votes, as I have seen my vote total drop by a vote and my score go up on a couple of different occasions. Sorry if I am stating something already widely known, but I was happy to discover this, and I know a couple of other people had noticed alot of \"1\"s being given out lately.

Also, if \"arriving\" means good enough to be noticed, then what term would describe the greats of our hobby? Maybe arriving is just being at the door (someone here posted that they were still \"on the way\") and being great is through the door and into the secret club lol. I can only dream of someday strolling into that club :)
