You know you\'ve arrived when someone takes something you once wrote, and makes a signature out of it...................:innocent:

By Jove, I think he\'s right.

When people are quoting you in their signature lines, or when you post a rant of unusall length and everyone says - Yes, brother, I agree for four or five posts.

... when people ask you to do a tutorial... (Still haven\'t got around to that but at least I did post some step by step stuff in one of the threads).

Airhead: You\'re easily forgiven, as I was quite pleased to be quoted like that. But, I must ask you, are you in the ranks of the Coffin Dodgers? Or mearly a young whippersnapper?

Hmmmm...

That logo is from Queensryche Mike, not Queen. More snapper than dodger I would say:D
(Or should that be more whipper than coffin?)

Just for Men..

I can thoroughly recommend it Mike.

Depends on the morning

\"I am quite old for a cabbage, buy very young for a mountain. For a man, I am just right.\"

All depends on the morning and what I did the night before. At 44, I am coming to terms with the fact that I cannot stay up til 2:00 playing D&D then get up at 5:00 to go surf fishing all day. I am also coming to terms with the fact that my arms are getting too short to focus my eyes on anything held without \"cheaters\" (glasses).

In the gaming/mini field, I am an old man. I played D&D out of a white box with 3 little booklets. I remember being excited about lead minis that actually had enough detail to \"see a face\" let alone any expression. I remember when the best paints were oil-based (Testors/Pactra military or various model railroad stuff (humbrol, flowquil, etc.)).

Yes it is a Queensryche triryche. One of my favorites.

That\'s a very good age my friend, we are of exactly the same vintage.:D

Its the same thing over here and for probably the same use - hiding the grey of coffin dodgers who dont want the pretty young things they are hitting on to realize how old they are.

I don\'t know if I have my own personal sniper ala Kev, but my poor little fire giant at http://www.coolminiornot.com/?id=34430 seems like he took some hits lately...the last vote took him from 7.3 to 7...ah well...steady dropping, that\'s me motto...

Don\'t worry - the same thing happened to me last night and when I looked this morning my score was back up, minus one vote. So the unreasonably low score was dropped apparently - a filter, or is there an anti-idiot fairy (a deranged cousin of the tooth fairy perhaps...)

And Braveheart, that is one of the best examples of \"arriving\" posted! Of course, if you are that good, you have arrived and entered the party!

Wise words...

Wiser words were never spoken by Tanis Half-elven, ala Yoda I believe? ???

Kevd82 - Just wanted to let you know I was referring to pitynoman\'s plight, not mine. Short of some miracle of God, there is no way any of my minis will win a Golden Daemon in the near future unless the next event is judged by the Helen Keller school for the blind!

Sure you can! It\'s easy. Wait for pitynoman to sell another fig, bust a good looking base off and present it in the youngblood group yourself!
I suppose you\'ve made it as a painter when you gain recognition by your art - or are strictly known by your art - \"Oh, your the guy that painted the green space marines\"
