That\'s a very good age my friend, we are of exactly the same vintage.:D

Ditto, for me. \'59 was a very good year it seems.

You know you \'have got a problem\' when on the way home from work you drive past the pub because you would rather spend a couple of hours on CMON.

What we need, then are pubs with internet access so we can drink and drool over nicely painted minis. I suppose it would help if the patronage was mostly painters, too... ;)

Hey Chrispy,

I\'ve been meaning to ask you for ages, but I always seem to get distracted by something else on these forums...

Where in El Paso are you? I grew up there, and I can\'t help but wonder if you happen to know anybody I know down there.

Sorry if this is kinda off-topic, so here\'s my contribution to the thread:

You know you\'ve \"arrived\" when people make you their \"painting nemesis.\" (re: Chrispy & Haley) ;)

A truly vintage year it would seem:D

I have taken the simple route and just buy my fix from the off-licence and take it home. I find I meet a nicer class of person that way, my scars are starting to heal and the police are beginning to lose interest in me:D

Healing scars is good, and avoiding the \"filth\" is good, too. :D

Still, it can be a lot of fun to paint with other people. I occasionally have \"paint parties\" with a few friends and a few beers (or rum, but that tends to interfere with painting more quickly... :) )

Could be funny to post miniatures painted while under the influence....

Well, my vintage was \'63 (a very good year, indeed) and although I am miles from arriving as a painter, since I turned 40 yesterday, I truly feel like I have arrived. I guess it happens when your kids are old enough to pick the presents they want to buy you but are not yet old enough to pay for them.

(AND I got a DVD burner!!!)

A very useful present as well. How did you resolve the +/-/RAM dilemma?

Feeling younger

Seems I am not as old a codger on these boards as I am on some of the gaming boards. :flip: Welcome to the over 40 club. Get you glasses now while you can see to drive. I used to NOT need glasses for anything - now I have to have them for anything closer than my reach. lol

We don\'t need pubs with internet, we need pubs that let us paint minis in them. (Don\'t know how well the minis would come out, but the company would be good.)

\"How did you resolve the +/-/RAM dilemma? \"
I didn\'t. Yet. If you have any ideas I would sure appreciate them. Please email me in private with any help you can offer.

\"coffin dodgers and pubs\"
My nearest pub is 2km so I don\'t get there to drink much. That is a long walk on a chilly night.

woo yay

Possibly your best comic yet. (after all, I\'m in it! heh heh.)

I feel really happy now. It just remains for me to go to work and stop being happy.

P.S. Don\'t bother going to see LXG, It is quite impressive but frankly the plot, script and some of the CGI sucks b@lls.

You know you\'ve arrived when you don\'t post for a couple of weeks and someone notices (thanks Dauber22).

You know you\'re leaving when Chrispy leaves you out!:(
