Nice pics guys. As far as stuff you can see easily of mine, I use an acrylic painting as a dark backdrop in my pics of terrain. The word artist now- that is very subjective. Tecnically, some say I am an artist from the music I play- but does that make me an artist? Maybe being an artist is in your attitude and not in what you physically do.
Many things can be called art- doesn\'t mean everyone has to like them or like being called an artist. My father used to say a guy who calls himself an \"artist\" is the kind of dude who tries to make time with you best gal.lol Then again he\'s a redneck country/cajun guitarpicker type guy- yet some would call him an artist as well. Just don\'t say Canadian Artist, has an Anne Murray snowbird connotation :|~

I\'ve dabbled over the years...

My Art Gallery

I\'m also a photographer. I was a professional for a while then got sick of it. I don\'t have the gallery for my photos up yet, but here\'s some sample pics:

Hmm, I need to update the copyright info to reflect my current website. Been a while since I was on Tripod.

Could be rabbit, could be...

Well I already confessed to being a sculptor in the yearbook thread. I showed my latest life study there too, but here is something entirely different...

I\'m still waiting for the day when someone screws up and calls you an IMP. :innocent:

As for other talents, I\'m an accomplished Post-modernist. Case in point :

I call it : Essence of Pudding lol

Nah, seriously, I couldn\'t draw a brick if my life depended on it. I play the piano, though, does that count ?

@ U 4

I am totally seeing a dog about to eat a human in your painting. I think it symbolizes the ironic reversal of roles between man and his \"best friend\", which is then played off by the double irony that the colors are cheerful and lively, returning the viewer once again to the feeling of dog being a creature to trust. Will $2000 be enough for the original?

lol

i see the dog too...he looks like Odi.....

@ Garyo: that\'s pretty cool, looks like something that wlaked straight out of a robert williams painting....

I sculpt, do photography and paint myself. i\'m doing a set ofbusts of my fave actors in my almost non existent spare time, started with Jeremy Brett as Holmes. nothing that i\'m planning on selling(I think it might upset his family), just something i\'m playing around with. Should have it one by the UK GD though. I\'m also working on a few t-shirt deigns that i\'ll ohpefully be getting printed in October time, as well as getting my \'artsy fartsy\' website up. So, in the end, I can\'t prove I do actually do real art for now, but will in a few months time.....;)

Mr Welcome....

Such hidden talents.....

However...

If one examines the prestructuralist paradigm of context i.e. \'the dog\' one is faced with a choice: either reject precapitalist dialectic theory or conclude that reality serves to reinforce class divisions, but only if Derrida\'s essay on semiotic postdialectic theory is invalid; otherwise, we can assume that narrativity is capable of social comment. Werther[2] implies that we have to choose between Debordist image and cultural postsemantic theory. But semiotic postdialectic theory suggests that class has objective value, given that culture is distinct from reality.

Given the replies here, I suspect some of you would freak out any psychologist who gives you a Rorschach test. lol

But I\'ll take the truckload of money, thankyouverymuch. :D

There\'s a standard reply to the Rorschach test...

It\'s a pig, it\'s a cow, it\'s a horse with a hat on.

I just found a site which gave all the standard, \'normal\' responses for all 10 slides. Hehehe, they\'ll never get me alive !
