Your favorite \'hero\' from WHFB/40K?

Hi everyone,

I\'m not much of an army painter, \'individual\' mini\'s suit me better. So heroes, commanders etc. are the one\'s I\'m looking for.

So, what was your favorite? (+ a link to see the model painted bij GW or yourself/somebody else?)

*I keep it restricted to GW mini\'s \'cause they are the easiest for me to get*

i quite like the way that dante figure is painted but the normal one looks terrible

i quite like conversions

one of my favourite models is the new chaos commander sprue

you can make it yourself with loads of weapon swaps

Got a few favourite characters from warhammer and 40k.

Love the ezekiel model from dark angels chapter.

The archaon models are cool for chaos fantasy, and i like teclis and tyrion (teclis is funny in the gotrek and felix novel)

and ofcourse Gotrek and felix

Ps i agree with rosac, the grimaldus model is pretty awesome for GW, my best friend loves Malus Darkblade from fantasy battles.

Though a lot of the background to the primarchs is cool.

also like the sicarius model from the ultramarines.

Favourite 40k Hero ..well villain...and he needs a new sculpt is Abaddon........

favourite fantasy hero....well villain....Archaon........although my favourite hero sculpt is either Azrael or Ezekiel for 40K and Gorbad Ironclaw for Fantasy...

I\'m so glad ezekiel is getting a lot of love, it\'s such a great sculpt and one of my favourite mini\'s, props to freakinacage for posted pics of razza\'s its amazing love that mini.

Abaddon is cool, the horus heresy books give a good insight into his character also.

Agree that his sculpt should be updated as should kharn the betrayer, like the typhus sculpt too.

i have always liked ahriman too ??? no idea why hehe, just had a link with tzeentch.

Quite a few good characters been mentioned, though mostly 40k

not got too many i like from fantasy though, bar both archaon sculpts, and teclis and tyrion. Like Korhil too, and the eltharion blind sculpt. not many others a friend really likes deathmaster snitch.

Love Archaon & Crom, as well as Cypher, all of them have some intense background fluff. Archaon\'s latest sculpt (on horseback) was what really got me into painting

For more of a fantasy touch to this thread: Phytrion/Selafyn/high-elf-hero-special-edition. Respectively marketed under different names, editions and prices.

Now lets see if I can add a picture to this...

Both Archaons models are cool, and his story is pretty cool aswell. The crom model is nice too, BUT Im glad you included cypher completely forgot him and he rocks. Jus damn hard to kill if your ever against him
