Here are a few pictures. The first batch is from Mobile, Alabama.
This is the skyline:

Notice how Mobile and New Orleans have the same style buildings?

And my hometown of Summerland B.C.

And one of the reasons I love Canada so much:

And one of Daegu, South Korea:

First photo that came up for Rotherhithe (there was no pizza express when I grew up there of course, and the wharf\'s were a bit more run down)

This is the first photo that shows up for Irlam (where I am living a fair amount of time with work being nearby)

When I was in the military 95-96 and then 98-99. I visited Daegu because it was one of many cities nicer than Dongduchon.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

In some ways a very nice little city (geographically as large as many of the major cities in North America, but due to urban sprawl we only have about 1M in population) but also kinda drab some of the time. I hate the weather, being the major city furthest north in Canada really sucks some times!!

Pros:
-One of the best festival cities anywhere
-The most urban parkland in North America (the river valley is awesome, so many joggers in Lulu Lemon pants!!)
-2 GW stores :p

Cons:
-The weather
-Pretty poor public transit (largely due to the low population density I would imagine)
-Way too many people getting stabbed at bars/night clubs these days... whatever happened to a good old fashioned dust-up where both guys walk away afterwards?

Yeah. I tried to persuade the wife to move to Alberta. Better economy and we have a few friends from Calgary. But she warned me about the weather.

In all fairness, it\'s not a bad place. It\'s green, it\'s near the hills, on the coast, near other cities. Can\'t grumble!

Jericho! I used to live on 99th st. and Whyte ave. Spend a couple years there I don\'t have all the details too! Good times!

I\'ll hunt down some pics of the mighty Toon Town and post. I love my city!
