So, I think the old thread is too old to necrobump, so lets start a new one! Rules are simple, post an image or images of your painting area so that others can see it! I'll start,
since I've moved room my setup has altered slightly, here's the new look + my new toy sitting nicely on the desk! :cute:

Sorry, that work areas is TOO NEAT AND CLEAN!!

Get some paint split, add 2 kilo's of resin offcuts and 3 of metal shavings, drop some blood stains, muss up that paper....

At least TRY and make it look real!!

I find it really intriguing how these threads have -always- popped up just a few days before I've planned on changing my work area or started moving to a new apartment...

Well, when it hasn't been completely covered with other stuff, it's actually pretty easy since the parts are solid against a random pattern. When they went into the carpet I had down on the floor before that was a different story!

The neat and tidy work area of a professional mini painter:

In my defence, this is about as bad as it gets. Hasn't been sorted for a while and it actually is fairly organised chaos. It only takes me a short while to stick things back into place. Note the mucky water pots, paint covered surface, £200 airbrush part assembled amongst the carnage rather than sitting in its stand, mess of cables at my feet etc. Thing is, I've tried to keep things neat and tidy and I just don't work that way. When I'm doing loads of painting I find I need to just have all my paints out and close rather than tucked away in carefully ordered drawers, expensive brushes are pointless as I mess them up really fast, etc.
