....on Tuesday I officially become A Pensioner!

I hit the big 60, and get the first pension I'm due, but I'm not going to be around here.
Fran and I will be spending a few days in Prague as a joint 60th Birthday treat for us both.

So Behave.....Oh who am I kidding, you lot'll run riot, just don't expect me to clean up.

Enjoy Prague. It is a beautiful city with an excellent nightlife as a bonus ontop all that cultural stuff. As in every tourist city the best restaurants can be found a bit away from the main tourist areas.

Happy birthday for Tuesday. I visited Prague last year with 3 mates. A beautiful country with tons of history......they wanted to spend the 3 days in an Irish bar watching football. I was not amused

Done a lot of walking.
It's currently in the -3 to -7 temps but unlike the UK it is not damp cold, still had to buy a cap yesterday because of the snow.
Managed to get lost on Tuesday, did a 4 hour walking tour yesterday.
Prague is a very beautiful city with lots of Art Deco buildings next to Gothic churches (Yes I went in several and they didn't fall down) the people are almost as polite as Canadians and have been tolerant of my butchering attempts at speaking Czech.
Today who knows, we might go back down to the Holocaust memorial in the Old Jewish Quarter.

EDIT:
We did go down to the memorial.
80,000 names, their dates of birth, dates of internment and dates of death written on the walls of a synagogue.
I, like others there cried.
