Thanks all! Yeah arch I use a dry well or a wet palette depending on my mood. recently i have been playing with the dry well and various retarders to get used to what i learned from fernando ruiz, but i do love my wet palette for ongoing work and smoooth blends on skin and other stuff.

WTF. I know I shouldn't be upset because I know the rest are coming but I was getting into it and it ended lol. I will be honest, I think you got a great time limit to the video. I have a hard time staying awake in some of the long ones, but I was glued to yours. Well done and can't wait for the others + I really want to paint now...but I am sculpting at the moment :p Ahhhh curse you indecision.

Glad you like it. Next is mid tones and highlights, then metals, then glazes, then final touch ups (and fixing mistakes) and last the base. I'll try to motor through them, but god damn my computer is old. 2hrs to render a 6min hd video?! Blarg. Need to save up moneys for a mac with final cut -_-

We got 2 12 week old kittens today. This may put a dent in my hobby time but it's helping with the stress of more layoffs this oct/nov. so I'm okay with it :)

Kitties! I may be a cat person... (although dogs are pretty awesome too) I miss my cat - she's currently staying with my mum until my boyfriend and I can find a bigger place that's not in a complex where she could get into trouble.

What's the story? I want pictures!

Awesone zabby cats/dogs any pets are awesome they do so much taking stress away and the funny thing is they get points just being themselves.....just a very cool superpower how awesome it must be no matter what you do people love ya,even when you take a cute Lil poop on the floor....lol

These guys are 12 weeks old and they are brothers.

The tabby is Little Attila and the black one is Doom Kitty. It's been 3 years since our last cat passed so this was overdue. i am nervous about having more mouths to feed with more layoffs this oct/nov but really it's not that expensive and yes, they do wonders for your soul :) The hobby room and furnace room are both closed so that they can't get hurt or eat anything that may be toxic or anything like that. Anything else they want to break, shred or rearrange is cool with me. They were very well socialized by their foster person and they are litter trained and terrifyingly smart o_O maybe too smart....

Thanks for the picture. :D Great names by the way. :good: I've never been very good at imaginative names for my pets, but it seems to work out anyway...

It's great that they're brothers - it means they can help to entertain each other as well. And double the kittyness is never a bad thing!

And I completely agree with BAM and yourself - pets really are good for the soul. Getting my cat helped me when I was going through a bad patch a few years back.

I'm holding thumbs that you'll be okay with the layoffs - my brother's just gone through the horrible uncertainty. Fortunately he's okay now and I'm sure you will be too.

Thank you. Well stressing won't keep my job or not right? But I still worry. That said, the reason identify with cats is that I tend to land on my feet no matter what XD

Good luck bud. I know how stressful that uncertainty can be, and glad you always land on your feet. Me I usually land on my ass but am to stubborn to stay down. Awesome cats and I love their names. I am a cat person too. My boy Rogue and my girl Gypsy keep me smiling every day...even when Gypsy takes a chunk out of my hand for no reason, she is psychotic that one.

So generally, you slap paint on the mini for 15 minutes so that it looks painted, and then do the rest in Photoshop? :D

I agree with Diggs, really like the short video. I find these guides, see that they last for an hour and I'm like 'ain't nobody got time for that' and try to find a page to read instead.

Thanks gang! Digga, i don't think there are any sane cats sir. Yes oist it's all smoke and mirrors. I hope to have the new video some time this week. I'm getting faster with each one i edit. i am shocked at how quickly the shortcuts come back o_O I am the adobe!
