Kind words :) Thanks everyone! I am slowly just sketching in the other colors now. God it's so tedious -_- In other news I wanted to give little heads up for everyone about a fun little idea I had a while back...

In the new year am going to throw together a little contest for fun (and maybe some prizes from my grey army).

Basically you take any mini you want and paint it - with your off hand o_O (yes you can try to even the field with the use of an AB, but you have to hold the mini & AB in the opposite hands from what you usually use)

We have a ton of talent on this site and we all pat each other on the back and sing our praises and show our awards, but how about we have a good laugh at our "awesome skills" as we try to tackle a mini with our wrong hands. I'm gonna stick with something very familiar that has a lot of sculpted details for me to follow so I can't possibly get it wrong, right?

What do you guys think? Sound fun? Sound silly? I would love to see Bailey or Sproket do one with their off hands! Who would you like to see take part?

Count me in bud, I thought it was a great idea lol. Sadly though I don't think Sproket or Bailey would be any less awesome. Robot Witches and all.

Before this WIP degenerates into off-hand space marines, let me tell you how awesome ET Leia is looking! Does it make me weird if I still think she's looking super hot?

Thanks Diggs, I may even expand this to my blog as there are a lot of artists out there who may not be on CMON. Thanks SaintToad. It's not weird, she's an attractive female of her species (whatever that is). To be clear ti doesn't have to be a space marine it could be any mini you want. i just chose a marine because i have painted thousands so it should be no problem for me to paint one with my offhand...in theory...

Wouldn't it be better to open a new thread just to not destroy your WIP thread with a lot of pages from everyone?? just link it from here for all your followers at Cmon to know ;)

Oh yes, I'll start a new thread in the new year for this specifically! I was just gauging interest :) I may also use the make up shotgun, though i believe Homer's may be set to whore. EEsh! o_O

You have let the cat out of the bag Zab. We now know you are half ork. I see your inner struggle as you long for a female ork among a race of only males as you paint her. Pretty deep brother, if you need to talk about it I am here for you.

I know for certain she is not an ork. filthy exnos -_- Besides, she's not muscly enough and there are no spotted orks. They were wiped out during the great crusade.

*sigh* denial is not the way my friend. embrace what you are, be proud of your half ork heritage. I mean oomies would not come up with such a great concept for painting miniatures with their left hand. That is your inner ork speaking to you. Listen and become one with the WAAAGH!

As things stand at the moment I should be in for the off-hands paint-a-long. Someone responsible has to keep you lot in line.

Happy new year greetings! I started up the your doing wrong... handed thread in the WIP section for anyone who wants to join in! Below the rest of the colors are sketched in on SP Leia... Saw the new movie... Meh. good enough. I'll follow the rabbit down the rabbit hole and see the next 2 so I guess it did it's job.

The purple shirt will eventually be closer to white with purplish shadows. I am hoping to prime my wrong handed mini this week. For some reason I see disaster ensuing even with the AB...
