Happy New Year, Zab!
It may well just be the angle of the picture, but it looks like Leia's spots are sort of equidistant from the borders of the sculpture (hair, shirt collar), which makes them look fake. If they are, I'd put a few partially visible ones in to create the illusion that Leia's nice green skin doesn't stop at the parts that you can't paint.

i know what you mean dude. It took me a whole week to formulate a well thought through opionion. What I've come up with is its good (on par with return of the Jedi) but some of the acting is suspect and there are some major plot holes but, like you say I'll bite. Alien Leia is looking weirdly sexy......is that wrong?

Yeah, not sure people who don't know the franchise will feel included, can we make this more inclusive/obvious somehow - especially the connection to the guy with the red laser sword and the old guy?
I think we need to tone down the guy withe red laser sword and make the girl seem more powerful to speak to Disney's young female audience.

To be honest the only thing that really bugged me was the last fight scene where Rey dominated. She should have just held her own even with her new connection to the force and then they could have been separated by the seismic events and so on and so forth. ~sigh~ At least it wasn't a Micheal Bay film. That dude needs to stop ruining my childhood favs. First Transformers and then TMNT -_-

Also I have been playing with water color and 2d art lately. Did a quick one for The Agent of Chaos while we watched a movie. It's her and her new stuffed dragon.

Thanks all! Another project in the pipeline. The Lady Inquisitor wants some art we made together to hang on the wall above the bed. A calming forest scene? A romantic sunset? Nope. A fun and kind of abstract giant classic NES controller!

I'm glad the spots just looked wonky in that one picture. Leia is really looking awesome (and I'm very glad to see that I'm not the only one who digs the hot green chick).
That watercolor is really sweet. It is very often stuff like that which people end up treasuring much later in life.

your not wrong although Kylo is actually the most powerful force user we've seen to date in any of the films and in the last fight he'd just taken a bolt from Chewie right to the guts (the bow aster throws storm troopers 30 feet) and still bearly wins!!
i thinks this film was actually very well thought out. It firmly placed it back in the fans hearts as a Star Wars film. It really needed to do that after the prequels and I'm hopeful that the second and third will diverge a little from the originals and tell a new story

I really liked the Star Wars movie, but I have been avoiding watching any movies for like the last 7 years. In 7 years the new Star Wars was one of 2 or 3 I have seen in the theater and probably one of 25 I seen at all. I don't really like movies that much. Now a good mini series...

Thanks man! I may add more war paint later, but i want to see how dark her skin looks once the rest is done cause i may need to bring more attention to her face once all that white is laid down. I think my view of movies is skewed from my time in TV. As a result I'm super hard to impress with film or TV and there was just too much hype for this one
