WTF? 2016 is brutal so far. We had some stuff go down at the beginning of the year too. I don't want to go into details for fear the fates are listening, but it was a rough couple of months. I hope your dad gets better. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Or if you want to talk or anything.

Thanks all :)

Well he just got into a slow duration in patient rehab program today that is 9 min from our house :) 3 months there at least and then we will figure out if it's home care, assisted living or what. Now i can focus on other logistics while i return to work. ENDURE. ADAPT. OVERCOME. I am too stubborn to do any less. We get our new fridge next week too and my brother in law's town (fort mcmurry) finally stopped burning so that is good too :) I did however get my spring allergies today. Meh, no big deal there. Now i can hide my tears behind the allergies excuse!

:excruciating:

Thanks all. I'm not really rough but as an only child with one parent left all i can do is my best. I mean my dad was there for me everyday for 38 years so I think i can put some stuff on hold and be there for him for however long he has left :) Thanks KB, yeah it looks like his house is all good and he's gonna take in a bunch of friends and their families from his work place who weren't so lucky with their homes.

Weathering looks great. You rarely see someone do heavy weathering like this without rust & corrosion, but it looks great all covered in scrapes, soot, and grease.

Thanks :) This is just part one. Next is highlighting the chips to give them depth, then some streaking and then powders and such. Not too much corrosion. The Mechanicum would never let their gear go that far ;)

I like this kind of weathering, it gives more of a mid battle weathering/damage effect instead of poorly maintained gear, you'd think that between battles they would fix up any damage, especially the mechanicum. great work on these :)

Outstanding as always. I love how you get to a point where i would be tickled to death if i could paint that well, then take it further.

Nice work Zab, looking really great. Glad you're able to find some time to relax and get back to some sort of normal. Best wishes to you and your Dad in the coming weeks.

I look forward to seeing what you do with the weathering powders. I've never used them before and would love to learn.

Thanks sicks, thanks digga!! Oh yeah Demi i have plans i painted them up last night same as the lenses on the rider :) Thanks Hairster. Khavor just get some and jump in experimenting. Of course i'll show you how i work when i get to it. They can be put on wet or dry or layered like mud or paste. dry powders are so versatile. Sionid! Congrats on your box art gig and great start on the PP bust. I just got mine in the mail. Yeah it does look like a turkey walker O_O
