Yep you can tint the metals with the washes and other colors too. You'd be shocked at what you can do with some many colors. i wish there was some red in there though

Not bad, the limited palette was tough and I could have spent more time on them, but they were just an experiment for fun, so meh

Yep, GW makes a really nice crackle paint. I was surprised and I think I may pick some up with my next order.

they turned out nice.

as for having only 1 silver and 1 gold in the set is also not a big problem as long as there is black (paint or the wash) and a brown (the wash one) in the set.

Yep Maxxx, the blue and brown washes made it easy to mix and tint the other colors. I still would have killed for a yellow or a red. Still, it was fun. I think i'll keep my eye out for more of these sets in the future just for fun little distractions the AOS one is very similar if anyone favors fantasy over 40k.

They turned out well, never tried their crackle paint before. I think I probably have all these colours to try it out as a challenge, just need to strip some marine bits

Voted. Very nice result Zab. I agree that a yellow or red added to the set would add more flexibility, but would probably confuse a newbie to painting.
